Avalanche was Cindy's and she loved it. Bought New, Low mileage, garage kept, excellent condition. Young guy driving a little crazy one night hit curb in median and went airborne hitting Cindy head on coming the other way. It most likely saved her life. He was driving a Honda Civic, neither one had time to hit brakes. Bent the roof.

Very impressive Gary,,,,,,,I'm jealous... What's in the blue bucket sitting outside the house? Does Cindy still clean all of the cars while also having to work 50 hours per week to support your lazy azz? This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 04-11-2018 at 07:21 AM |

I loved that Yugo! Wish I still had it.LOL Very good eye Larry, the Blue bucket is bulk supply of Viagra, which I need to keep Cindy happy and working to support my addiction. That is a Prowler trailer hubcap in the window, actually 2 of them wired together, so it looks the same from inside or outside. There is one mounted on opposite wall also, but no window there. |

quote: Since we had a hawk nest in one of the eucalyptus trees, it seems the gophers are being thinned out! That and I caught a king snake on the road the other day... I picked him up with a stiff tined rake and moved him to gopher flats... LOL Hopefully we can get a grip on them now. We've only had 10.02" of rain this year, so El Nino was a bad little boy that needs a spanking for not raining more here. Almost every storm went north of us, now its too late in the year to get more rain... We never get rain this late in the year. |

Gary I'm glad Cindy is OK,,that was some wreck. Wife's named Cindy are the best . Also you have way to much time on your hands. When Cindy retires it's all over,,,you know that don't you? |

I agree on the Cindy's are best. I actually think I got way more things done when I was working.LOL I'm hoping to get a few more years working out of her or at least find her a nice part time job. I've been retired for 6 years and working a part time on call job. She is a good helper on projects around the house though. She was off for several months in between jobs a few years ago and helped me build the second garage. |

Gary, the garage your Prowlers are in is awesome, decorated well and has a tall ceiling. You could install a double wide four post lift and purchase two more Prowlers,,, stack em and pack em. How many cars can you squeeze in the two garages? |

The bigger garage is 24'x 48' with 9' ceiling, I can get 6 cars , Goldwing in there, but you have to move several cars to get to stuff in back. That is why I added on to 20'x 20' garage. I added 20' x 28' to it, which didn't last very long because I just bought more cars. LOL I built the newer one with 14' ceiling to except lift, but I made it so nice in there, I ended up not wanting to put lift in and do work in there. The older section of that garage started out as a 10'x 10' screen porch for pool and 10'x 10' shed for lawn tractor and lawn stuff. I've changed it around several times, but now it is party room and 1 car garage. I'm thinking of building a party room off the pool deck and making another bay in that building. What you can't see in pictures is another 10'x 10' shed next on side of that I had to build for lawn stuff or the Tiki Bar I built off pool deck. Anyway as of now I have 4 cars in that garage, 66 Impala SS, 10 Camaro SS, 99 Prowler and 01 Prowler. The bigger garage has 88 Ford F-150, 96 Impala SS, 13 Malibu, 10 Challenger RT, 72 Chevelle SS clone, 00 Honda Goldwing, 2 Prowler Go-Carts and 86 Honda 4 Wheeler. I have the Chevelle coming out side door so I don't have to move any other cars. I'm also considering building another 2 car garage with high ceiling on the back of the bigger garage. More Pic's added. |

Gary, you win. I thought we were bad with a 28' x 42' with 10' ceiling and 8' doors, a 28' x 42' with 12' ceiling and 10' doors both with second floor storage and a 24' x 32' with a two car door leaving one stall for a work shop. No matter how much room you built, it always seems to fill up. My neighbor offered a hint, quit buying stuff and you won't have to keep building garages. Thinking about a mobile storage building, 12' x 24' for the outdoor equipment. |
