Hi CJ I didn't know you read our goofy thread

Bob was actually very gracious with info offline. I really appreciate that he took the time to help me with ideas even though I'm not quite ready to start the build. Gives me lots to think about.

I also sent Bob an e mail from Herb. There's a episode of Ultimate Factories on Nat Geo about the Viper!

Herbie as Bob calls him is driving at the AZ proving grounds in the show too! Thursday February 17th at 10:00 est

Here's a link to the teaser video. http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/series/ultimate-factories/5676/Overview#tab-Videos/09430_00

Thank you both for the birthday wishes... Just turned 60... and retired to Texas ... Yesssss!

What I 'got' was a wonderful trip to the GUlf... get my toes wet and enjoy a great hotel stay at Moody Gardens in Galveston and a fantastic seafood meal with my lovely bride.

It's ALL good now.. retirement works!!! and ROCKS!

(cuts into my previous internet 'schedule' but I'll live.)

coach K,,,that Galveston/birthday hotel celebration had some x rated pictures being taken,,,,and Geno won't share with us, lol. Congrats on the retirement GT,,,,I know you were ready for it.

Kala, the Suns wore down the Celtics on friday night for you, and you handed them their butts today... good job.

Went to Suns game tonite,,,,we were 12 ahead with 3 minutes to go, and almost blew it. Game down to last shot, and a controversial non-call at the end. Oh well,,,the Suns got 3 bad calls and some missed calls also. Crap happens! It all balanced out at the end

Thanks again Bob for explaining that rough road Finch was about to drive the Viper on,,,,you saved him some headaches for sure.

We flopped

Pau Gasol(notes) had 12 points in a quiet game for Los Angeles, which has lost four of seven. The two-time champions are doing nothing to counter the perception they don’t get excited about anything until the playoffs.

Bryant became the youngest player to reach 27,000 points on a 3-pointer late in the third quarter, but he frequently was a one-man show on offense. Ron Artest(notes) went 1 for 10, Andrew Bynum(notes) had 11 points while struggling with soreness in his left knee, and Lamar Odom(notes) had 15 points and five rebounds.

Would have been quite the sight bombing down the 401 - now if we could just get the other cars off the road

You win!

How is the car and your garage? Never did see a picture of it on the turn table.

CJ needs to send you pictures of her new garage. It would fit in the corner of yours but she did a great job on it even installing the floor!

If your around June 10th and 11th, Hot Rod Power Tour Ends here and we have a nice show at the WPC Museum. Mr. Norm is coming out for me.

Larry, I've got lots of seat time in very fast cars both on and off the track, I just enjoy looking at a piece of art. As I said, pictures do not do the car justice, period.

Wayne, ready to top that? I'm up for a challenge.

His garage is spectacular! I will see it one day.

Larry, I really don't want to drive the car, It's Wayne's. It does sound great with the Ballenger headers and Borla Comp Coupe exhaust! The tires are the closest thing to a race tire and are still DOT rated. I'm content to admire it!

I've driven Vipers on the street and a few race tracks. I've never grown up. If I drove a Viper, I'd either be dead or in jail. I've been to a number of schools and I'm a good driver, but I know my limits.

Bob,,,,I have to tell myself that exact thing every time I push the button to fire up our Viper,,,,this beast can kill me!

I'm just glad I'm 64 now, instead of 24, or I would most likely end up as a statistic and the car featured at Wrecked Exotics.com

I see Wayne is up for a challenge Bob
Canada.....Winter....maybe you two can rent some Saab's and go ice racing next week? Arizona will send up our champion racer, BajaFresh Jim Marsella (aka,Prowlrman),,,,fresh from the VW/Audi Proving Grounds track to compete against you guys:

While Jim's last race wasn't too successful, he's been working at catching the correct angle entering those apex's :

Geno,,,Oh wow,,last night was the one closest to me. Sorry I didn't see this post sooner.

Sun City is too far away for us.

Hope they had a good attendance on tuesday nite.

I notice they close out here, and have to be back in Wisconsin a day or so later. They fly their equipment around the country?

Well, yes.. sorta....

They are an 'acapella' group... they sing without any instruments... Phil does the 'soundboard' for them and
he carries his board... that's all their equipment they
need to carry. They use whatever 'amplification' is
set at their various locations (speakers, etc).

A great fun group that puts on a very entertaining
program. They have several spots on YouTube as well
as their website above.

Sorry you missed the post... maybe next time!

All Star Jam was great, lots to do and see.

Crazy stuff like new NBA rookies playing 3 on 3 with fans! The NBA's newest bench warmers showed they can kick ass and make you look bad at will... LOL

Broadcast booth with tele-prompters so you could do a crazy dialogue to a Clipper or Laker game.

3D Tvs showing x games

Wii had a bunch of plasmas set up and a 10' projection set up with people playing nba games on them.

ESPN had a Larry O'Brien trophy to take your pix with.

just insane

A full court with bleachers and a wheelchair game going on.

Another full court with a girls high school game.

so glad I went. Didn't see Chuck or the new Clipper King Blake. I actually said if Blake was gonna be there I would stand in line to have him sign a B Ball... That guy stays healthy and he's gonna have one heck of a career!
