That was definitely an interesting video on Cuba cars. Definitely learned a few things about all the old cars and cuba's car values. |

More stuff from Pops house recovered tonight, lol!!! Not sure how you guys view this pic, I see it sideways but on my phone it is upright,,, please let me know. Anyway,,, there was a stack of these. Recognize the guy in the pic??? This connecting rod belonged to my brother in laws 1978 F150 Mud Truck with 44" mudders, need to find a pic of it to show you guys. They used to bring it to shows. Ok, Back to the connecting rod,,, he parked the nose of the truck under the eve of the house and the rain water somehow made its way in the hood scoop, into the motor and when he started it, it hydrolocked and bent the connecting rod. Oops!!!! Last but not least for the evening is this hat!!! I will leave the comments to your imagination, lol!!! PS, we could send it to someone,,,lol. |

This past Saturday I went to a local car show...I have to say this individual was very creative. Not Sure if I would have used a PT Cruiser. |

Hoagie,,, do you have emission testing where you are? My thought is no because that would never pass inspection. I agree, he could have done that on a much nicer car. |

No Emissions testing stations here in FL. We used to have the centers setup everywhere, about 15yrs ago. |

Lucky, that's why I like the old stuff,, 1995 and older no emission testing but do have a safety inspection. |

My wife has been going through some of the photos at my father in laws house and came across these. These are photos from 2004 my father in law took when we got the old girl home, I took pics of the pics with my phone tonight to load them. I bought this 1982 GMC Sierra Classic 3500 Fire/Rescue truck, body was removed so just the cab and chassis. It was from New Jersey and a guy in Maine that buys municipal trucks and equipment had it. It had 9k original miles when I got it. It took me about a year and a half to make a dump truck out of it. I do not use it much any more, more of a conversation piece. The funny part is I just finished a 3 week overhaul last week. Had some rust showing, needed brake work and other misc fixes. Going to keep you in suspense and will post a updated pic I took last week tomorrow night. This message has been edited by Landscape Doctor on 03-30-2019 at 11:18 PM |
