Spent some quality time with my Uncle today.

I know you guys like food,,, home grown rabbit, home made sausage, local farm raised beef and Barilla linguni with sauce made from the garden,,,, feast for a king.

You took me way back to my childhood with that picture and made my mouth water...

My dad used to have a box trap in his garden to catch the rabbits that would eat his seedlings at night. When he caught one we knew what we were having for dinner soon. My mom was from France and cooked like it too! She would make this rabbit in a wine and mushroom sauce that was out of this world.

Glad I am not the only one that appreciate's a quality meal,lol.

I leave for a couple days and I get team bagged again,lol.

AC, that looks like one of those 3 legged vultures in that pic. They are extra tender,,, taste like chicken.

LOL !!! We burn firewood here too! We have gone through 2 pickup bed loads so far this winter (you probably go through that in a day!). Mostly for us it is a real nice ambiance to have the fireplace going in the winter - the heat is just an added bonus. I love to have the fireplace going. I've always loved campfires and such ever since I can remember as a boy, so why stop now?
