We are VERY good to each other. That's what makes a relationship work well.

Always parked
Fact: Almost 95% of a car’s lifetime is spent parked. That's a normal car, buy a normal owner.
The Prowler is not considered a normal car as you know, and neither are most of there owners. John(onecatnodog)

Speaking of owners here is a picture of Jim Bishop with Prowler Girl Katy..

Fact:
The Stanley Hotel was Stephen King's inspiration for his book called The Shining. He spent a night at this Estes Park, Colorado hotel with his wife back in 1974 and he had a dream while sleeping that turned into a famous book and movie.

The Shinning..

When I ran the Mile Hi Prowler Club for 8 years we visited the Stanley many times.. Here is some shots I took at one of my special events there. It would have never been able to pull this off if it wasn't for the Prowler Girls as the Stanley waved their $5,000 Charge and even arranged a fork lift for me to shoot from. Something not offered any more, that I'm aware off. I promised and signed a contract to shoot the models in prom dresses over 700 shots inside and out for exchange to be used in flyers they sent out for a before and after prom night.. If my pictures didn't turn out I was on the hook for the money. Talk about pressure. They were able to even hold a after prom dance there and sold out. Mom's and dad's booked rooms along with there kids John(onecatnodog)

Fact:
hair-splitting (n.)
"making over-nice distinctions," by 1739, from hair + verbal noun from split (v.). To split hairs "make over-fine distinctions" is first recorded 1650s, as to cut the hair. Hair also being 18c. slang for "female pudendum," hair-splitter was noted in 1811 as slang for "penis."

Something I just found out with a little research..
I had NO IDEA.. John(onecatnodog)

Yes Gary, we do somewhat hibernate in the winter. That's why we go south for a bit of time in the winter to thaw out.

1930's First auto GPS

.
the 1930's version of a GPS. Developed by Touring Club Italiano, this device was more like a "map guidance tool" and came with a set of paper maps. It was tethered to the car's speedometer that kept the scrolling of the map in proportion to the speed of the car.
