Y'all can start posting about how much fun you are expecting to have in Texas next April anytime you like! You don't have to wait for us planners to start listing more details in January  Is anyone planning cat-a-vans to Texas from their part of the country......driving with other Prowlers to and from a Prowler event extends the fun a couple of extra days AND is a great chance to get to know a few owners better at meal stops and any hotel stays on the road. How about seeing attractions outside of the scheduled events...what do people plan to do or want to check out? |

Preliminary plans are in the works for a Florida group to cat a van to Texas. Only plan for the moment is to take our time, see some sites and enjoy the trip. There could be 10-12 cars at this early hour. We have cat a vanned to South Dakota a couple of times, the Dells, RT 66 twice, Nova Scotia, Key West several times, Gatlinburg to name a few. Added another couple to the attendee list. and have had some posts on a couple of Prowler facebook pages form people who may be interested in attending....I suspect more activity will pick up after the holidays! |

Who all will be traveling from or near Michigan? Looking to see who else, along with CJ and Bob Longstreth, will be going so we can travel together. If so, who would be interested in joining Ed Monahan and others on the Natchez Trace highway starting near Nashville? It could be 8 to 10 hours from MI to get there, so if going as a group would be best to make the trip to Nashville over 2 days. |

The Director of Sales at hotel has confirmed there are rooms available in the event room block at the hotel. Please contact them again if you have any issues or were told to book at higher room rates. The host hotel currently has about 40 rooms booked for our group on peak nights. There are about 20 rooms left for the entire length of our event at the Holiday Inn Express, up to 30 available on the weekdays but not the first weekend nights as of this week. All rooms are subject to being booked by people outside of our event but hotel will honor the rate for us until they are out of rooms. People can book rooms until the hotel fills up. Once that happens, I can look for an alternative property but hotels do not want to commit to any reduced rates for rooms until I can give them a date when reservations may start and we won't know that until the first hotels fills up. |
