Or the guys racing down Route 66 and running out of gas after the Hackberry Store photo where David flagged down the German tourists to take a group photo from the roof of the camper? Opening the hood on the Paxton car so that everyone could see the supercharger and new headers.... Or some guy riding his motorcycle through a snow storm to get to Flagstaff? Or someone inviting everyone to his home in Sedona at the last minute as the event was ending?

This Texas event could deliver similar memories for today's owners. We haven't committed and I'm already looking at stops along the way that are interesting and fun. Those that did the Power Tour with us are sure to remember some of those stops. Or the time that Larry Mayes invited us to a car show in Indy and where we ended up going.

Prowlers are all about adventures and the people. People that see the cars want to look at them and talk about them. Life long friends are made here at POA and especially at events.

You and Arlene are listed - first post on this thread, page 1. --3rd to bottom row of names.

The lists just above this post are lists of people that attended an event almost 20 years ago.....

Regarding payments for Texas event as of now we are working hard to keep it pay as you go on site so those of us planning do not get bogged down with collecting money, issuing refunds, getting people tickets for various things etc. At some point we will post a thread for people to list names if they want to have special name badges printed and the nominal costs to cover the actual print supplies costs plus are considering offering T- shirts . Both these items will be order and pay in advance and will be handed out in the hotel lobby when people arrive.

I can not believe I am posting this but "Ed is exactly correct"......my fingers hurt typing that LOL. Seriously, the hotel will not release more rooms to our room block until we fill the current block. That area is very popular in April for Shopping at the Outlet Mall (2nd largest in Nation) and because of festivals/activities in area. Weekend nights at the hotel may fill up if we do not get to a larger room block. You can reserve now and always cancel down the road if you can not attend.

Director of Sales at hotel says there are rooms in the block at the hotel. Please contact them again. If you have any issues you can ask for Karen Martinez or email her at sales@hiesanmarcos.com
