I'm beyond the blame game. Time to get things done now. Tell the Repugs to get out of the way and let our President fulfill the policies he was re-elected to do. If we wanted the Repuglican plan of tax cuts for the rich, we would have elected Willard. McConnell and Beoehner failed at making President Obama a one term President. Now they should sit down, shut up and quit getting in the way. Bring back the Clinton tax rates and quit playing politics with the American people.

It's obvious you don't know what that entails or you wouldn't be pushing it. That will bring back the "alternative minimum tax" and cost 28 million middle class and lower income families big bucks.
Your diatribe about the "big" win means Obama is king really doesn't make sense in our checks and balances government. You should have studied harder in your free school. The system was set up so one idiot can't ruin everything, although he is doing his best.
If two percent more had voted for Romney, he would have won, hardly a mandate. 51 to 48 % or so.

quote: Why aren't Americans swimming in jobs?

You might ask D-Barney Frank and D-Charlie Schumer,,,who in 2006 got the passage way cleared for all of those 'no money down, 125% ARM, no qualifying' mortgage loans flying in high gear,,,,resulting and creating the 2008-'09 crash as the housing bust cut the knees out from under the financial system and the auto industry nearly collapsed. There lies your answer, but you can't identify with it or are unwilling to accept the blame.

So you agree that lowering taxes does not create jobs? Once you admit that, we can discuss causes of the 2008 financial crisis if you want to do that again. Or you could call your representative in Congress and tell them to stop blocking President Obama's plan of taxing the 2%.

The financial crisis was caused by lowering EVERY standard to get a home loan. Banks lent money to folks with no assets, no jobs, no savings, etc. and guess what !!! They didn't make it and the banks took a hit and ultimately we all got burned. That all started with your hero, Billy Boy Clinton. Remember ENRON ? Remember the scandal with the buildings with Hillary and Bill down in Arkansas ?

Thank the liberal whackos D-Barney Frank and D-Chuckie Schumer, both who lead the push for allowing lending institutions to get more unqualified home buyers into homes, which they (the buyers) couldn't afford. Credit default swaps among lenders and investors soon followed,, and the rest is history..... < - $ >

I guess you didn't know that Mitch had a winning lottery Powerball ticket worth $56.4M, several years back?

You were probably on a golf outing back then, with your evil, rich FORD friends, and missed the news that week.....

A LESSON IN IRONY

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount of free Meals and Food Stamps ever, to 46 million people.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves."

This ends today's lesson in irony.

When former top U.S. military commander in Afghanistan, Stanley McChrystal, got called into the Oval Office by Barack Obama, he knew things weren't going to go well when the President accused McChystal of not supporting Obama in his political role as President.

"It's not my job to support you as a politician, Mr. President. It's my job to support you as Commander-in-Chief," McChrystal replied.

Not satisfied with just accepting McChrystal's resignation, the President made a cheap parting shot. "I bet when I die you'll be happy to piss on my grave."

The General saluted: "Mr. President, I always told myself that after leaving the Army I'd never stand in line again."

Liberals never miss an opportunity to give half of the truth if it furthers their "cause"....Read on:

The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), now up for reauthorization, is in major need of revision. Its billion-dollar-a-year price tag spent by the radical feminists to pursue their ideology and goals (known as feminist pork) make it an embarrassment to members of Congress who voted for it.

For 30 years, the feminists have been pretending that their goal is to abolish all sex discrimination, eliminating all gender differences no matter how reasonable. When it comes to domestic violence, however, feminist dogma preaches that there is an innate gender difference: Men are naturally batterers, and women are naturally victims (i.e., gender profiling).

Starting with its title, VAWA is just about as sex discriminatory as legislation can get. It is written and implemented to oppose the abuse of women and to punish men.

Ignoring the mountain of evidence that women initiate physical violence nearly as often as men, VAWA has more than 60 passages in its lengthy text that exclude men from its benefits. For starters, the law's title should be changed to Partner Violence Reduction Act, and the words "and men" should be added to those 60 sections.

The law should be rewritten to deal with the tremendous problem of false accusations so that its priority can be to help real victims. A Centers for Disease Control survey found that half of all partner violence was mutual, and 282 scholarly studies reported that women are as physically aggressive, or more aggressive, than men.

Currently used definitions of domestic violence that are unacceptably trivial include calling your partner a naughty word, raising your voice, causing "annoyance" or "emotional distress," or just not doing what your partner wants. The law's revision should use an accurate definition of domestic violence that includes violence, such as: "any act or threatened act of violence, including any forceful detention of an individual, which results or threatens to result in physical injury."

Women who make domestic violence accusations are not required to produce evidence and are never prosecuted for perjury if they lie. Accused men are not accorded fundamental protections of due process, not considered innocent until proven guilty and in many cases are not afforded the right to confront their accusers.

Legal assistance is customarily provided to women but not to men. Men ought to be entitled to equal protection of the law because many charges are felonies and could result in prison and loss of money, job and reputation.

BJ,,,,,Thanks for posting,,,you beat me to it,,and probably stated it better than I.

Don't think women are abusive, aggressive, domestic violence perpatrators? Case in Arizona court right now, this jealous gal had a sexual encounter with her EX-boyfriend, and while he was showering afterwards, stabbed him twenty-some times in the chest, shot him point-blank in the face with a gun, and finally made triple sure he was dead by slitting his throat wide open

This is NOT one isolated incident......women attacking men, happens every day!

===========================================================

If there is ever going to be a law, it should be entitled:

Violence Against HUMANS Act

and not be discriminatory against either men, or women, only!

Just don't assume that all women are like that any more than man are. I'm for equality for both sexes regarding abuse and violence repercussions. Both are capable.
