You can black out about 10 % of those folks carrying the fat cat on the last cartoon. 10 % aren't working under the messiah's grand plan.
Keep all 3 wars going or the economy will really tank. No ammunition plants, not BAE armoring all those vehicles, no MREs being made, etc. All those soldiers out of work to raise the unemployment rate.

I think this is flawed economics. Who is paying for the war machine? You are. Remember there is only one taxpayer. Yes you will have a lot of unemployed soldiers and reduced manufacturing but you wont be paying the trillions of dollars to support the wars either. It's not like the depression where that worked. These are much more drastic times. I believe if you drastically slashed your military and foreign aid budgets (even temporarily) you could pull yourself out from under.

Also, personally I would rather be in an unemployment line than risking my life in battle. But that's just me.

We won't be paying for a war just because there isn't one? About 5 years ago, we just paid off the war of 1812. You might want to try understanding that concept before making comments like that. We'll be paying for these wars for generations to come.

what does that have to do with keeping the amunitions plant running and the soldiers employed. Those are costs moving forward not looking back.

Beachcat, that is why Obama will not stop the wars as he promised. WE are paying for it, what does he care. If the wars stop, the economy tanks even worse and he looks bad on that front. His bid to get elected was "Stop the wars, close Gitmo, get the economy rolling" Oh for three.

You missed my point totally. It was satire, aimed at the liberals who think Obama is the Messiah and are still 100 % behind him.
