Here is our elected LEADER.
He sure can communicate with little kids. He might need a prop or two to get him through the tough parts. But nevertheless, he is a born leader. This message has been edited by ed monahan on 10-27-2011 at 07:40 PM |

Why oh Why didn't Obama fix all of this when he had Dems controlling both houses ? Why didn't he raise the tax on the fat cats THEN? Because it is not a popular move and he didn't want to pizzz them off. Who are all these wealthy folks ? Maybe some ultra-liberal actors or athletes. Reading who contributes money, it seems the fat cats support both sides, hedging their bets. Obama has succeeded in totally dividing the country. Everyone has an "us v. them" attitude. The country is in horrible shape, and not just financially. Obama has really brought the country much farther down hill. |

I guess you answered your question about where the jobs are. They are military. How come YOUR Pres didn't end those wars? Wasn't that his promise 3 years ago? When the wars end so does the demand for bullets, guns, MRE, uniforms, artillery, armored vehicles, etc. A LOT of jobs will be gone. Oh, we could go ahead with the pipeline from western Canada down to the gulf, that would employ a LOT of folks. Why is the job of the REPUBLICANS in the HOUSE to create jobs? Why is not the duty of the DEMS in the SENATE to creat jobs? Why not the globe trotting President? He isn't doing anything besides campaigning anyway. |

From Ed's link above: The Forgotten 15 GOP Jobs Bills "No matter how loud or how often Obama says: We can't wait for Congress to act, it's really an act on his part in his melodrama for reelection. He continues to demand his stale $475 billion jobs plan. The fact is: Democrats are blocking real jobs-producing bills that Republicans have passed. They have urged Senate Democrats and President Obama to support the House-passed jobs bills they call the 'Forgotten 15', which GOP lawmakers say would mightily boost job growth. Senate Democrat Leader Harry Reid is blocking bipartisan jobs legislation for his usual bumbledom partisan reasons. This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 12-01-2011 at 01:51 PM |

One would think that if you were in the minority party and you wanted a bill to pass, you would try to compromise with the majority party to get it passed. How come the Senate Repugs don't understand that? See, they are the "Party of No"! They are willing to let America fail, so they can blame Obama. Isn't that what Rush was talking about doing in 2008? ------------------ |

By the same token since the Democrats are in the minority in the house you might think that they would compromise and vote to support legislation but they don't..... Both parties are guilty and they need to start working together for the American people! |

Actually there are 21 jobs bills that have been passed by the House and Senator Reid won't even allow them on the floor to be considered................ |

I know that cause Bush did it in 2001 and it didn't work. Then they extended the program again, and still no jobs. Look at the facts and not the ideology. ------------------ |

A/C....Before you start putting up your lights, don't forget, you'll need Federal, State and Local work permits, proof of workers comp insurance, OSHA approved safety gear, EPA studies to determine the impact you'll be having on global warming, carbon credits, various fees, taxes and surety bonds..........Oh, and it will take 6-8 months to get approval Or, you could simply hire a couple of illegals for five bucks and a pint of tequilla.......They'll get right on it and be done and gone in about 30 minutes (or until ICE gets there, whichever occurs first) This message has been edited by bjprowler on 12-05-2011 at 01:03 PM |
