Raining season sucks!! About to trade these Mickeys for rain tires lol Every time I go for a nice ride I get stuck in the rain!! 🌧️ it’s pretty fun though, I like the way she drifts around!

It’s been both my experience when there and I have also heard that it rains more days than not in Florida. Doesn’t usual last long.

I lived in Boca Raton 8 years ago. I don’t remember this much rain. I was told about raining season, but only living on the west coast. I wonder if east coast has it as well. It’s a decent size state. Whatever I built it to drive it!!

If I’m sitting at the bar having a cigarette with a bottle of water, I have to pour him some too. Took this 2 minutes ago.

Even has his own set glasses.

Then he lounges in the sun.

Grass needs mowing an hour after they cut it lol. They have a landscape crew that doesn’t stop. I did my thing with my flowers tho. They leave those alone. You still coming out in December?

It looks good.
Next thing I know, we will be seeing a cup holder, fat tires, a sound system, and an electric motor on it.

I have been sitting around recuperating from my fractured Collarbone like the Orthopedic Surgeon has instructed me to.

While it is nice to have time off from work without financial worries, it stinks that I am unable to actually get much accomplished that needs done around the house.
I can't even take the Corvair Van out for a spin since the Manual Steering and Manual Transmission prohibit it.

I posted about this in another thread a while back.

Yesterday around 6:00 P.M.we has a brutal storm that took out the Electricity in the area.
My neighbor tells me that roads are closed, detours are everywhere, tree limbs and telephone/power poles are down all around us.
I only just now got some electric using an extension cord from my neighbor who just fired up a Generator.
I hooked up the essentials, the Refrigerator, TV & Internet.
Even though I had not opened my Freezer since the power went out, everything in there has mostly thawed out so I will be pitching most of it.
This is the first time in well over twenty years that power in my neighborhood has been out for more than an hour or two at any time but I will get through it.

Chris, The pictures of your trike are very interesting. Quite unique. But I don't know if it's an optical illusion or just a 2 dimensional picture effect, but it sure looks like your feet will come dangerously close to the road surface while you are pedaling. I would be concerned about major road rash to your foot or worse, major foot hyperextension to the point of almost running over your foot with the pedals. Again, probably just an optical illusion but how close do they come to the surface of the road?

No, it’s not too close. You have to remember, it doesn’t lean like when you ride a normal bicycle. The back tires are always planted so the distance between the pedals and the ground really only changes when you run up a ramp to a curb or something. The pictures make it look a lot closer than it is. Probably 4-5” the pictures above when the Schwinn stickers are still on the frame, I hadn’t adjusted the springer forks yet, it’s closer in those pics.
