Thank you guys. Dads up here in NY right now. everything in FL is great. I have made a lot of friends already where we're moving (when you're cruisin pop's car's everyone talks to you lol) the sales team at this place is beyond amazing. A gentleman named Andre who is a salesman there but also lives there texted me yesterday. The roof paper peeling is on houses with the roof in progress These GL Home guys are great and build brick sh*thouses. Very very happy about my purchase decision. Dads house from what I have heard is fine too. We're 30 min from the beach i guess far enough. Still scheduled wheels up at 9 am Sat. as of right now. If our flight doesn't get canceled I'll be there by noon on Sat. We'll see, Thank you again for checking in guys I do appreciate it. Landscape Doctor and BeWare it's a nice feeling when people care. Thank you guys so much. You two def have an invite to my house warming party!!! I have to let the neighbors know the deal straight outa the gate lol. Planning a pretty stupid party! I have a huge Italian family and everyone calls me all the time to see how everythings going. You guys are going to love this pic. the kid on the tire is my cousin who bought my house!!! That was 1996 my senior year in high school. That jeep had a 572 Hemi w/ 1 ton rears and 46" turf tires...........13.00 at 105 in the quarter!!! Look at the exhuast. It was single chamber flowmasters welded to collectors and that was it. It was an absolute beast. i really have to dig around and find more pics of my old rides, had a few that were stupider that the Jeep believe it or not!!! |

Just found this. My old H2 8" lift 40" tires and a 502 c.u. 502 Hp engine!! This one was fun but I never really loved it. Was a bit much when you jammed on it an the front tires wanted to burn up with the backs. The feed back thru the steering wheel was hairy. When I move I'm sure I'll find more. I'll have to start a thread. This message has been edited by cdeluca99 on 09-29-2022 at 11:04 AM |

1 more. My tube chassis 1981 Toyota Hilux. Forget about it with this one, I jumped everything and broke everything all the time. I was a bit out of control behind the wheel of this one. I have a ton more pics just looked in my tool box quick. The old man was with me on a ot of builds too. I wish I had more pictures like these. It was my experience building my own home was it starts out slow and speeds up in the middle and as you near completion it slows down again. Mine was mostly DIY and two wives. LOL |

I agree. This is the 3rd house I am building and it's always the same. The trim work and details take time. I am wondering if my house is complete enough that the storm won't change when it'll be done? Landscaping, driveway/lani, appliances and that's the about it. I changed my flight to the 7th. Gas lines and all the crazy stuff going on, maybe in a week it'll be better. Dad bought a new place too. Closing on the 10th. Wait till you guys see this one............11 car garage is all I am saying for now. His current place has a 4 car garage but he has 13 cars. With the lifts only 8 spots. New place has 11 spots with no lifts installed yet. Best part, he has absolutely no clue I am building my Prowler. He thinks it's in storage till I move. When she gets shipped down it'll be before my place is done so I am shipping it to his place for a few weeks. I can't wait to see his reaction!!! I’m trying to set a meeting up with my construction manager, looking to see who I have to write a check to so we can get in this place already!! I can’t wait to show you the landscape set up they are doing, going to be pretty cool. |
