Ed , nice sign

That looks like Churchill Downs.

First Prowler Owner I met was Jim Dunbrack { Hellcat } at a car show here in Moncton.

Great guy!

Don't tell him I said that.

I answered this question back in December 2005. And just today learned that he passed away this week. Curtis will be dearly missed. RIP, my friend:

It was fun reading through this post. It looks like I was the first for quite a few. I used to be a real road warrior.
I've met so many great people along the way over the last 21 years.
I don't drive mine as much as I used to but I still love the car and the friends it has brought into my life.

Cool as heck and sad at the same time reading this thread. Lots of folks have left the building, unfortunately.

Joe Upton (dru) was the first to reach out to welcome me to the site and invited me on upcoming events. Thank You Joe!!! Great People on here!

First person I met was a BILLYC in a green metallic flake Prowler he picked up in Vegas. He came to the meet to let the gatherers know that Joe was running late due to a bad Battery. next I believe was Art in his candy red.

Last year when I dropped off my Prowler at Tom Mills for the two piece deck lid he told me I was the first Prowler owner he met at the first Woodward POA event. We were both out early cleaning our cars. I’m not sure if I was also the very first POA member he ever met.

This was very cool to go through. I never saw it before. Shelley and I went to an event Marty and Rebecca Usher did, I believe a Bourbon tour KY. I remember we pulled out of the driveway and Shelley said ;"I feel like such a bad Mom, leaving the kids here alone." We went down for only Saturday, drove back that evening. As I entered the room at the hotel, Marty was talking and I stood in back, met Larry Lord. That was the first person I met! Wow, 20 years ago or so. Fun to see some of the names and avatars or whatever you call them. Super fun times. Of course, very reflective as well as some of those people are gone. Good folks, nice people. Looking forward to Gatlinberg for sure.

First person I met was Andria Raine (Alrtg). I was so impressed with her that I bought her car. A decision which gives her seller’s remorse. She misses that car. But she knows it’s well cared for. I consider her a great friend and am blessed to have met her. Through her & the POA I have met many other great friends. What a great group of people. Bless you all.
