They did not do a good job of copying. My rings are fixed with a wad of black silicone gloop, not epoxy as I would have expected. The actual workmanship was also shoddy compared to how I would have done it. I tried to buy the rings from them too as I am perfectly capable of doing some machine work myself but they would not bite. I also told them up front that two were off my trailer and after getting them back (loose fitting) they told me they'd never heard of this problem but would take a look in the future. Note, no offer to fix mine..... By then I'd started getting the picture from down south since I tried to get some info that should have been simple. They were all ears about what I was trying to do but offered no quid pro quo. Some folks here have since clued me in on other intellectual property that went missing so I now have the whole picture! |

When Dick machined some he found diff. colored plastic on some of them. There were at least 2 diff. runs of trailers made, a few years apart. Sorry you got screwed by them, too. Many have been screwed and they never make it right after the sale. |

By the way, the center caps do fit SOME trailers, but not all of them. I don't know which ones they work on, at this point. |

This might be a stupid question, but how would he like his money? Money order or cash, or gift card? Thanks! This message has been edited by CaravelleMan on 05-19-2020 at 05:23 PM |

They will probably be there in time. They usually make the round trip in about 7 days, unless they are going to Canada and Customs takes a couple or even three weeks, sometimes. Use a little lube on the rubber O rings. This message has been edited by ed monahan on 09-01-2020 at 09:06 PM |

Half of a wooden, spring loaded clothes pin works great. There is a notch on the center cap. Don't use a screw driver and don't twist whatever you use. |
