Great pictures.

I was going to pull the cars out just to run them a little while,,,, but,,,, guess what,,,, it just started raining again!

At least I was able to get a little mowing done in the yard this morning, the parts that don't still have water standing in them!

4th of July 2015

FINALLY drove the car on the road for the 1st time this year

There was a cruise in in Owensburo Ky that a guy in Louisville was going to so I thought I would get the car out and make the 120 mile drive over

was a good cruise in with a very friendly host club. Most of the time they close off the streets in downtown but since they were doing fireworks last night they did it south of town at Home Depot

the battery was dead in the camera and took these with the Ipad but when I sent them to the computer they didn't turn out very good. guess I didn't do something right

1st Kat Traks of the year

Great to see that you got the car out and had some fun!

I have spent the long weekend catching up on yardwork and hanging out with the kids in Houston. May try to pull the cars out this afternoon to look them over, I need to get license plates renewed on them all I think.

Have the dash apart on the Yellow, going to work on it some this week to see if I can get the gauges and indicators to come back on. Airbag light is on too. The Purple is doing the same thing, but the indicator lights did come on for a few minutes yesterday, then went back off when I restarted it. Both cars start and run just fine, can't see what gear you are in or the mileage, no gauges and the airbag light is on in both. All have been on battery tenders.

The Mulholland is working fine.

I need to replace the speakers while I have the dash off.

Finally got a chance to work on the instrument clusters on the two 1999's.
Took them out and did not see anything that looked bad, no cracks on the boards or bad solder joints. Cleaned the connections and reinstalled.
The Yellow worked for the first two start ups, then nothing would come back on two hours later when I tried.
The Purple did not come one at first, but after many attempts, came on partially a few times, but never fully displayed the mileage and the gauges never came on.
I am hearing a clicking which I am sure is the relay in the Power Distribution box. I will check those next, but I believe it is something with the circuit boards.
I had replaced the speakers in the Purple many years ago with JBLs, but it looks like I need to do the same to the Yellow while I have the dash off.

Took my Red '99 out this weekend for a short cruise to try out my new Accessory, the Real-Rod Weekender. What do you think?

This was my first full weekend with the prowler, since the weather prevision was for rain from Sunday onwards we took the hardtop out to try some topless driving

I then drove the GF to a town in Essex, about 1 hour drive each way and spent over £25 in gas doing so !! .. ouch, but it was fun

Mine has sat most of the year. Friday we drove almost 600 miles to visit some friends. Back roads and top down all the way. Same on the return trip. The ol' 97 performed to perfection. I now want to put 100,000 miles on it before I die.

This is the latest picture of my Kat at a local car show. It now has the front bumpers re-installed and a true ram air induction system which is very functional by the way. A professional photographer was at the show and took this picture for me.

Went to the cottage on Lake Huron Saturday then took the prowler to Long Point and went boating on Lake Erie on Sunday. I,d like to see how many of the Great Lakes I could go to in 2 days.
