Been to plenty of shows & cruise nights. The Kat won Best Pinstriping at Red Bank, NJ show back on July 13.

That's a great looking trophy, I am hoping that it gets out of the 100 degree weather soon so I can hit a few shows soon!

Since the Monster Trailer only holds the Yellow and The Mulholland, their Trailers and their Go Karts, the Purple has not been out of it's trailer that much lately. The shows we have been to either Jason has missed due to work or it's been so hot we didn't pull both trailers, so the Purple has been left out of the limelight for quite some time.

I did some work on the smaller trailer that hauls the Purple and it's Trailer, and took her out today for a much needed detailing since she was a little dusty. Earlier this week she got an inspection and new license plates, both had expired.

Here she is after three hand coats of Meguiar's NXT Wax, a coat of Meguiar's Car Cleaner Wax on the wheels, Meguiar's Leather Conditioner on the seats and Detailer on the rest of the interior and rubber.

Cleaned out the small trailer, the mud dobber wasps have been bad here and there are mud nests everywhere. Had a few inside the white trailer and under the Prowler and Prowler Trailer.

Got the purple trailer waxed and loaded back inside, trying to get ready for a local show on 9/13.

Too hot now to work on anything else, I'm done for the day!

Didn't get to go to the car show this morning, we had between 3 and 7 inches of rain last night around the area and it just started raining again! I was all loaded up and ready to go!

I let the Go Karts run a little gas through the carbs last night when I got off from work. They all started just fine but the clutch on the Purple Kart stuck after it idled for awhile and over heated, so it looks like that one needs replacing. Got a nice burn tattoo on my wrist while taking it apart! I guess I should have let it cool down some more.

Still haven't really done any work on Go Kart #4, have a few other home projects going on.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Finally got to replacing the Purple Go Kart clutch yesterday and ran all the Karts for awhile. Also pulled the Big Kats out of their trailers and let them run too.

Trying to figure out a better way to haul the Go Karts in the Monster Trailer so they don't take up so much floor space. Thinking about some type of rack to pull them into, maybe stacking them or lifting the fronts to a 45 degree angle. Still brainstorming that one.

Supposed to have some rain today and this week, so I won't be driving any of them to work. The Hummer and the F450 both need a wash and wax, just haven't had time to tackle that project!

No projects going on right now, just too dang cold and wet to do them. We had a hard freeze last night and a chance for sleet and light ice the next two days.

Last week I finally got around to getting some of that preventative maintenance done on my Kat. Given the age and miles on my baby I went through and changed out the timing belt, water pump, upper and lower intake gaskets, plugs, PCV, serpentine belt, A/C belt, coolant flush and oil change.
I am happy to report no extra parts and she runs like new!
Next up, I need to get my trailer back together...

Do you still have the old timing belt? If you do, I'd pay to package and ship it. Send me a PM and I'll give you the address and arrange for payment. I also would like the last eight digits of your VIN, your current mileage and the month, date, hour from the tag on the driver's door. It will help with some research that I'm doing on the timing belt.

How much did the Timing belt cost you?
and how much mileage on your cat?

RPL, I do still have it. I can get it in the mail to you sometime this week. I'll send you a PM

Need4Speed, I purchased the timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley, and water pump kit for $194 My prowler has 56,000 miles on it.

In general it is still low mileage, it all started with a goal to replace a leaking gasket, but the car is also a 99' and figured "well while I'm in there I might as well..."

Looking at two of the Cats bagged in the garage. Looking at all the snow we have on the ground. Smiling because I know it won't be long before I can drive them again. In the meantime, I'm spending my time catching up on all the household chores and projects I save for the winter season when I can drive them!!!

Surfcatmatt, smart move on your part as long as you had to get into the front of the engine. I may have suggested replacing the thermostat at the same time.

Beautiful day here in Texas!!! I worked on the Kats some today, the Yellow has been loosing the dash lights and gauges. Looks to have been a loose ground at the battery, tightened it up and everything seems to be fine now. Checked the others and all three Kats had loose battery connections. Gave them all a fluid check and made sure everything else under the hood was fine. Tires were a little low, took care of that too.
I then took each one up town for a short scenic run cruise and to get a fresh tank of gas, what a blast they still are to drive!!! Still love it just like day one, and they got a lot of attention at the gas station too. Even better to drive three different Prowlers in one afternoon!!!
It's going to rain tomorrow, so I am going to put them back up and take care of some detailing next nice day.

Today the high temp will be 14 degrees. This afternoon snow will start falling and we are expecting 8-12 inches within 24 hours. The high this week will be Thursday when the temp will reach 30 degrees. I just took some extra blankets to the garage and put them on top of the car cover that is already on the Prowler.

We already got our 8-12 inches of lake effect snow up here in Northern Indiana. My Prowler is safe and warm in our attached garage that we use for storeage and the garage doors will not be opened until Spring.

The Prowler had the bottom bunk and the Dart was sleeping on top. Had to get the Dart out to clean it up for the Carl Casper show this coming weekend so FRIDAY was a cold day but very nice, sun shining. The cat got uncovered and backed out of the barn and then after the dart was woke up and put into the house garage the Cat is now sleeping on the Top Bunk, the MG is under it and the Mustang got kicked out of the house garage and now in the barn.

Now for tonight, 6-8" of snow and single digit temps. Good thing the cat is covered, plugged in and sleeping till spring, actually will have to put Dart back on top since the cat is shorter and gives me more room on the floor after next weekend.

The doors are insulated and I have a 75,000 BTU ceiling mounted furnace that keeps the garage toasty all winter.
It's a 26 x 36 garage with an eleven foot ceiling.
