Very nice looking garage padroo. Regardless of how big you build your garage, you will run out of room. That's the rule!

Lets see, this Sat. I did lift the garage door to make sure the battery tender was still on and to check the mouse traps,(that was after I shoveled the snow away) other than that it will be another 2 months before I might be able to get it out in the daylight to wash it off, that is if it will stop raining long enough. I really feel for those north of here!!!!
I can't wait to retire and move south. It will be fine with me if I never see another snowflake for the rest of my life!!!

This past weekend was decent as far as the weather goes.(52 degrees was the high)so I decided to craw under the Kat and polish all the aluminum. This project started out pretty good but after three hours every joint in my body was hurting. I used my new aluminum racing jack($59.00)and stands that I bought from Harbor Freight...They both worked very well. After a total of six hours,I couldn't,t take anymore. I ending up going to the doctor on Monday for my Sciatic nerve killing me. After the doctor ask me what I had been doing to get this nerve so inflamed,I thought he was going to suggest that I go see a orthopedic doctor. But.. instead he suggested I go see a psychiatrist. He said no one in their right mind would do such a thing.I told him he just didn't know Prowler lovers...I will be 67 years young March 1st and I figured if I could craw under this car for six hours,I sure as hell would not have any problem getting in or out of it...My doctor can say what he wants to but it want change my mind about how I feel about my Prowler.

Polishing?, wow, a Prowler owner with vision for sure, more power to you! I need to get under mine & clean off the oil and grime from the old leaky front shocks, ( they have been replaced) only think about it when under to change oil and/ or filters. At least when I'm under there it's a fairly comfortable position for taking breaks!

I didn't do anything with the Prowlers today.

I got an insurance bill today for the 74 coupe deVille, it was for $13 and that reminded me the insurance on the cars was on lay up and I needed to get it back on for driving.

So I called the insurance agent and had them put full coverage on the Dart & Prowler while it was snowing this afternoon

Maybe in the next few weeks they can come out.

There is a car show in Evansville area tomorrow but that is 2 hrs away and going to be really cold, so we will pass on that one

Put the top down last Saturday and spent the entire afternoon cruising the back roads, going to an arts festival and then to dinner. Got back just before dark.

Brought it out early for some paint work, installed Gary's trans cover and did the Wonder bar install, ordered the Viper panels, started the door speaker swap and now looking at a waterfall and complete audio change.

I really need to stop reading this forum for a while....Keeps costing money.

Wulff, you really don't want to attend a big event, that can really get you into some big bucks when you see the stuff in person.

I bought my Kat late in 2008 and admit that like most folks that get a new toy, I spent a lot of money the first year or two on the car.

The good/bad news is that after many years of ownership, I keep making modifications on the car and expect there is no end in sight.

One of the down sides to going to an event with lots of Prowlers is seeing modifications others have done to their cars.

You will likely fall in love with something you see and decide you must have it for your car which is cool.....until you find out that item hasn't been available for five or ten years and only available used if at all.

The moral of the story is if you like something that is available.....buy it right then and there before it is no longer available. JMO

I finally got my Prowler out of the garage ater the worst winter ever... 109" of snow in 60 days... the poor trailer is still frozen in a block of ice.... had the seats and door panels re-done in black leather with carbon fiber vinyl accents... also had a leather dash mat made....

Extreme, I like the mods very much. The dash pad is different and the seats look plush. And I really love the little inlaid Punisher skulls on the back of the seats. Super job! If you don't mind my asking, how much is it to redo the leather seats?

Thanks guys.... I will have to glue the dash pad on... Velcro isn't working... I had new seat foams so it was easier for the upholstery guy to do his thing.... he said the oem covers were partially glued to the foams so trying to re-use them would have been a nightmare... Everything cost me $1800... plus the cost of the foams and the embroidery...

I know what you mean, I've been grabbing pretty much everything on my want list as soon as I see it.
The chances are slim that I'll make it to an event since I doubt there's many here in my area. (Although a trip to Spokane wouldn't be out of the question.)

Sold my 2001 and bought a 2014 Z51 LT3 Vette.

Very tough decision to part with my Kat but as I get older the creature comforts and ability to throw 2 sets of golf clubs in the back of the Vette made more sense.

Will be selling lots of parts shortly when I can get around to taking pictures. I bought lots to have in stock since my original intent was to keep the Prowler forever!

2001 PCM direct from Mopar rebuild. (Have the receipt)
2001 TCM direct from Mopar rebuild. (Have the receipt
2001 Owners Manual still in the plastic shrink wrap.
Used Factory Prowler Bag with purple Prowler.
Brand new Mopar (Orange) floor matts.
Brand new Mopar rear mud flaps.
Mint factory orange grill.
Brand new Front Ceramic brake Pads.
Brand new Mopar Transmission input and output sensors.
~4 Chrome wheel caps with broken tabs and magnets that Beachcat suggested as a fix.
Orange Mopar touchup paint and may have used 2 drops.

I'm sure there are others but at work and can't remember the entire inventory.

I should be posting these in the classified shortly with pictures.

Definitely enjoyed my 2 years of ownership and all the thumbs up and pictures everyone took of it.

Cheers,

Bob

Haven't been able to do anything with the cars for the past month, it just won't stop raining. We are under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning right now, the lightning strikes are really close. Last year we were under a drought, go figure!

Have already missed out on three shows that we normally go to every year.

Made two car shows this weekend and at one, had five Prowlers lined up , all different colors. My black and gold two tone, a yellow, an orange, a silver and a blue Mollholland. We got quite a bit of attention all afternoon. The Prowler mystique! LOL.

Got one of Prowlers out of the storage building, into the garage & on the lift. Getting it ready for Colorado, saw a little oil on the front crossover frame. Well after 16k miles the front Dynamic shocks were leaking, luckily I bought a set of Koni's a couple of years ago from Buddy C when he had them, hour & 1/2 later the new ones were in.

Next things to do: change the oil, check all of the trans axle fluids, new heater hoses & clean it up, then finish up the trailer remodel (I post some pictures when I'm done).
