Well I’d explain the parent naming thing with William Healy, but Marty already explained it better than I could. It’s just a user name scheme (remember I’m in IT) of first initial last name that I’ve always used. The fact that it’s so close to wheelie kind of fits my interests as well. Do I have to also explain everyone calls me Bill as opposed to William? ------------------ |

My old screen name was C5 Frank... the C5 stands for Fifth generation Corvette. But I have since sold the Vette. So I went back to an old name I use on lots of other sites. Racer X It comes from the Speedracer Cartoon that was made in the late 60's. As a child I was a loyal fan. Racer X was a mysterious racer that was always around to help Speedracer... it was his own brother, but he never knew it. ------------------ 94' Mustang Cobra(Power Trip) 00' Trans Am WS6 Ram Air(Her car) 02' Excursion 4x2 Diesel(The Beast!) |

We grew up poor and noone in my family ever finished high school. One day I got my GED and went to college. Finished college in 2 years(took up to 21 hours each semester) and got through college and medical school in 6 years instead of 8. One day someone was kidding me about it and started singing " da da da da da da da da Doc-Man"( to the tune of the old batman show )and it stuck. I also use the screen name Amantoby on the vipersite it is comprised of the two most important things in my life my daughter AMANda and my wife TOBY. Doc-Man |

It's me. It was confusing to me to try to identify a face with a name to a username a Prowler events, so I simplified mine. Anyway at Prowler events, etc. everyone uses their names anyway. |

I was asked many times over by friends and family if the Prowler was my midlife crisis car, because what else would make a sane person with 2 daughters in college and 2 more on the way spend that kind of money on an impractical car that can only sit 2 people. I just laughed and responded "you don't get it" "just call me crazy" |

I started on POA as a wanna-be owner in June. I have simply been using my name. I took delivery of a yellow 2002 Kat on July 12th. I have never used a vanity tag, but my new toy seemed to be begging for a tag. I've always named my cars/trucks, so I said why not. In North Carolina you can use only 7 characters on a tag. Several of my initial thoughts for were taken. I settled for KATAMNT. Why KATAMNT? A Catamount is a cat a little bigger than a bobcat that used to be plentiful in the mountains of the Carolinas, Tenn., VA, and GA. Legend has it that a Catamount is pound for pound the baddest and fastest animal in it's neck of the woods. The Catamount is also the mascot of my alma mater Western Carolina U. When I think I've earned my stripes or more importantly when Alley Cat thinks I have, I'll probably Use KATAMNT as my username on the site. What do you think? |

There really was a tv show about a super hero that drove a purple Prowler and the show was called NightMan. Only 7 characters are allowed on the license plate in Maryland so we changed it to NITEMAN. |
