Bought my 1st Vette 29 years ago, I purchased my current one (1999 C5) 5 years ago as my daily driver. First time in 30 years that the Vette came as a Fixed Roof Coupe. (No removable T-Tops, etc) - Ergo my username 99FRC. So what the heck am I doing on a Prowler forum the crowd questioned ?? As of 9 hours ago a 2001 Mulholland is now parked next to the Vette. We are talking about one big doo-doo eating grin on my face. |

Bruce, if we were to pick nits, I would have to admit that I'm actually from the thriving metropolis of Waterford (next town to the north of Burlington, WI). Since virtually nobody else on the face of the earth has ever heard of Waterford, or Burlington for that matter, I figured that Milwaukee would give the beer drinkin' crowd a better idea of the area. I do work in Milwaukee, but NEED to live outside the city. We joke at work about Waterford being annexed by Hooterville, but before the deal can be completed, we need to clean up some of the cow sh*t. I do love the small town way of life, and there isn't any place I'd rather live. Lets get together soon. Bob |

First time on this type of site, so when it asked for a user name I though we needed to put in our name. Was too lazy to spell out my first name so just used my first initial. c.mangeng= Craig Mangeng. Once I read others, I knew I screwed up again and did not know how to change it. Since its so original I thought I would just leave it as is. |

Craig, I almost used that same name but decided at the last minute that you might show up later and want it. Kind of like buying domain names and later reselling them for a huge profit (only without the profit part). lol |
charlie bui Prowler Enthusiast From:San Jose, CA |

How else do I put this.....Charlie is only a nickname that was given to me almost 30 years ago by a H.S. football coach that happened to be my mentor during the Summer of 1976. Somehow, the name stuck with me everywhere I goes...But my real name is Trung, and of course Bui is my last name.... Everyone knows me by Charlie.... Interestingly enough that somehow CJ is the focus of attention while everyone is trying to guess her name. Believe it or not, I have a tatoo on my left arm as "CJ"....The "C" stands for Charlie and the "J" was for Janet.... About 5 years ago "Janet" was the love of my life....No love stories or fairy tales can top the loves we have for each other. Just like Romeo & Juliet, her family does not approve of our relationship....We bite the bullet and parted, before major bloodshed amongst the families..... The initial CJ has a very special meaning in my life. So, CJ...my guess is C is for Cutie and J is for Janet.... You know what, You are very special to me already..... |

Myself and a partner started an independent record company in 1994 called Possum Records, I named the company that because as the studio was being built we had a Opossum hanging around the building. 9 was because there were so many people with the possum name on AOL, 9 was the next available number. Its been with me for ten years, why change. |

In case anyone missed an early post shortly after I joined the POA...it wasn't until I totalled my Harley on May 8th, and was layed up for several weeks, that I found & decided to purchase a Prowler for my wife (still in Iraq). Due to the motorcycle accident I now have a titanium rod extending from my left hip to my left knee INSIDE the femur which actually looks cool as hell in XRAYS...but, when I stumbled onto this website, and was asked for a user name I thot about it for awhile cuz I've previously been known for several years as Socrates or 'Soc' on the biker websites I used to frequent when I owned bikes! That was due to my outlook on life, having a Masters Degree in Psychology and attending several Philosophy classes! Kewl! But, feeling it was time for a change--going from Harley & GoldWing to Prowler, I decided I needed a new moniker. So, a combo of the titanium rod + my name (Ken) and not being able to use 'titanium' because of the first 3 letters--yes, it blocked me from using it, hence Tytanium-K ('K' being the first letter of my first name). Perhaps not the best nickname I couldda chosen, but I thought of it first~so now I BE 'Tytanium-K' This message has been edited by Tytanium-K on 09-09-2004 at 09:23 AM |
