What a great guy and a Prowler friend, that will be truly missed by all of us who knew Geno. Geno had a heart of gold, and willing to help others with any situation.
I personally will deeply miss my friend Geno,,,we had many great times together at Prowler events.

Geno retired after a long career as a railroad man in late 2011, and was looking to spend many winter retirement months at the Texas property that he and Eleanor had purchased.

Sandy's son saw it on the news in St. Louis and sent a picture. The Prowler is really heavily damaged. Happened this afternoon around 3:30PM.

From Kathy Wade Spruell Facebook page...
"This is Richard Mydlo. The most compassionate and considerate person I have ever known. When I started having problems with the stairs at work He didn't think twice and offered more than once to move the whole office downstairs. Who does that? Rich Mydlo! He was kind and he was funny. He made going to work fun. He made you want to do your very best. He was more than a boss, he was a friend.
My heart is broken and am so thankful that I was able to come back and work for him again.
When I decided I wanted to learn how to shoot a gun he was one to encourage me. He would make fun calling me old even though he was 77. He was an amazing person.
For those who don't already know, he is the one who died in the purple prowler yesterday on Hwy 30."

I have met many of the people who have passed away. I originally had a 1997 Purple Prowler which i sold a few years later when i saw an Orange 2001. Many great people we have lost. I would love to get a sticker made with every Prowler owners name that we have lost. Can anyone put a list together with all the names?

Visitation and Funeral >
Wednesday, December 14th, Tempe, AZ >
Visitation at 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
Funeral Service at 12:30pm the same day

Lethia suffered a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage on Nov. 22nd and spending 16 days in the Neuro ICU pod of the hospital, her liver, kidneys, and top portion of her stomach started failing. The Critical Care doctors conferred and explained that there was no way to save her life.

Lethia passed into the Arms of the Lord at 12:48pm on Thursday on Dec. 8th

For 16 days, Lethia was sedated, and never gained clear consciousness. She had 7 surgeries, mostly to relieve vasospasm complications, but her Neurosurgeon figured she was over any concerns with her brain issues causing any further problems and said he figured that Lethia would return back to normal after a month or two. Apparently, the Critical Care doctors seemed to drop the ball maintaining her blood pressure and other bodily actions properly. Too many things were failing her, and a complete recovery became the issues keeping her from progressing forward.

I'll be totally lost without Lethia,,she has been my whole life and inseparable love for the past 16 years. I'm heartbroken beyond words.

Thanks to everyone for your friendship to Lethia and I over the many years,

Larry

Lethia Ann Elsasser

September 3, 1955 ~ December 8, 2016 (age 61)

.

Lethia Ann Elsasser, 61 of Mesa, Arizona passed away on December 8, 2016. She was born on September 3, 1955 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Lethia attended Tempe High School and finally chose to move to Arizona permanently in 1981. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Lethia was a strong, devoted, and a hard-working person. She was employed at Holsum Bakery, Tolleson, Arizona for almost 22 years. She also became a collector car enthusiast with her life partner, Larry Salzman. Together, they traveled Arizona and the United States attending many car events, which Lethia enjoyed immensely. Lethia was a member of the Prowler Owners Association. Her passion and love for the outdoors was showcased and her many trips with Larry. Her dedication to her employer was shown in the endless hours and days she worked. But she always made time for what matter most to her, her family, didn't matter how far away or how many calls, she was always there for her family.

A Vet, history buff and a man with a terrific sense of humor.

Have not been on for a while - working hard, dont own a prowler any longer but some great memories for sure. Just came across this thread. Prayers for those here, many I have met and all fine fine people with great smiles and a penchant to enjoy life - all of them. Gene in particular always gave me great advice, a great guy. Wow, enjoy life, it is truly a blessing and it is truly short.
