As many know, I've not been here in a while. About 7 years. I just went through this entire thread. SO many of these people absolutely touched my/my families lives in the past, and when I sold the Prowler, tears running down my cheeks were an indication that anything Prowler in the future would deeply hurt/sadden me - I HAD to sell the car to keep my five kids in Private High School and College. I didn't want to. And I sold everything with the car - collectible stuff to not have to look at it. It was painful. Seeing Richard Jackson here dropped my heart to the ground, what a GREAT guy. GenoTax, Bob Goetz, Vickie, so many here. I've been blessed with a tremendous life and have met so very, very many people in my work, where I lived, our church, kids schools etc. Many people, we just don't keep in touch with on a regular basis, but when we re-connect, it's like we never ever stopped chatting/seeing each other. The Prowler club is that way too. Still trying to go over in my head how the heck I ended up with another car in a matter of 2 hours, Sunday. Absolutely the last thing I needed to do. Or was it ? Seeing Phil's picture, I still think of him often, I truly do - his memory brought a BIG smile - I was still a member when he passed. Great kids too. One of the absolutely nicest people that I have ever met. In any setting..... I know I was avoiding this thread, and I know why. But for now, I truly appreciate the club having put this together and Laddie keeping it up. Some have reached out to me (PM's) that there are members of their families now struggling, and that prevents them from Traveling, getting out. And that I may not see them again, at club events. That is as hard, at times, as a death. Being a caretaker of a loved one. Massively hard assignment.... More on all that later, but thank you for doing this on this site. A tough read, for sure. This club, has been blessed with SUPER KIND AND FUN PEOPLE. I hope and I pray that each and everyone of these people knew that was them, in our lives, in my life. |

An emotionally sad day for me,,,remembering five years ago today and the loss of MY LADY and best friend:
. Lethia Ann Elsasser September 3, 1955 ~ December 8, 2016 (age 61) . [SIZE=4]Lethia Ann Elsasser, 61 of Mesa, Arizona passed away on December 8, 2016. She was born on September 3, 1955 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Lethia attended Tempe High School and finally chose to move to Arizona permanently in 1981. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Lethia was a strong, devoted, and a hard-working person. She was employed at Holsum Bakery, Tolleson, Arizona for almost 22 years. She also became a collector car enthusiast with her life partner, Larry Salzman. Together, they traveled Arizona and the United States attending many car events, which Lethia enjoyed immensely. Lethia was a member of the Prowler Owners Association. Her passion and love for the outdoors was showcased and her many trips with Larry. Her dedication to her employer was shown in the endless hours and days she worked. But she always made time for what matter most to her, her family, didn't matter how far away or how many calls, she was always there for her family.
A Celebration of Lethia's life was be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 |

Just going through some old pictures and remembering Wild Bill. Bill had the biggest heart. Even though I didn't have a Prowler, Bill always found a way to include me. I was dubbed "The Caboose". Running block for caravans, becoming a raised tripod for pictures, and just loved hanging with everyone. Bill always loved it and made me feel included, making custom magnets and a tire cover for me. Bill was more than a friend and club member. He was family, and will forever be missed. |

Just going through some old pictures and remembering Wild Bill. Bill had the biggest heart, and if you had the pleasure of meeting him, you were loved and loved him back. I didn't have a Prowler, but that didn't matter to Bill. I was dubbed "The Caboose." Running block for caravans, becoming a mobile tripod for Prowler group shots, and loved just hanging with the ECP. Bill made custom magnets and a tire cover for my Jeep. He always found a way to include me. Wild Bill will forever be in our hearts and will forever be missed. ------------------ |
