TOP KAT, are plans coming together for the Williamsburg/Virginia Beach Cruise in early summer of 2008? Sounded like a great possibility. My son is stationed there and likewise with Yeller Cat and DIXIE Cat. possibly could get us on a carrier or the ship yards for a tour? Let me know? IF YOU PLAN IT, WE WILL BE THERE! Hey Guys. I have been away from the website for a while. Tried to get on earlier tonight, but since I have not been visiting in quite a while...... the website did not recognize me automaticly and Top Kat forgot his password (I think it is the aging process,but I will have to ask Ed about that). I had to contact Mike for some help and he came to my rescue. ( Thanks Mike ) Okay, I am back. In answer to your questions.... YES, there will be a 2008 POA event in the Virginia Beach area. Still working on the particulars , but we are looking forward to seeing all of our POA friends here in "08". We are looking at June as the month, but maybe July. Give me some feed back as to preference. We appreciate any offers to help or co-ordinate any tours or outings. I will try and update you more often, as I can, but when you have suggestions or questions e-mail me at Greasegone1@aol.com. We drove the Kat to Williamsburg, VA this past weekend and the weather was beautiful! July and Aug get pretty hot in VA and the humidity gets pretty uncomfortable too. I think May or June is a great time to be there. There's a lot of history in the Williamsburg/VA Beach area. There's an amusement park in the area at Bush Gardens. It's really beautiful country and tons to do! Jim, I'm ready and able to help in any way...so just let me know. |

Just talked with Gary ( MD Prowler) last night and he and some other members of the "ECP" are going to help us. We will be having a meeting soon and I will post more info for you regarding "Virginia Beach 2008". It will definately take place. We will give you an exact date as soon as we can.
