Count me in too. Sounds great. My nephew is attached to the Navy Seals there. Maybe I could set something up.

I'm sure we'll have several groups heading that way. For us, traveling to the event with a group makes the trip there part of the event!

Virginia is great...let us know when and we will be there.
The only thing is that after school is out Williamsburg and Virginia Beach are packed with family vacationers.

That's OK, my kid brother & his wife (both now retired from the USN) live in Virginia Beach. We can all stay with them!

I did talk to Jim about this over the weekend but I don't have anything new to report. My thought was to actually stay an hour or so out from Virginia Beach or Norfolk in order to avoid the constant traffic issues while still being close enough to go to.

All of that sounds good, what about the next day, do you have anything planned? lol

I like to see the sights in DC but isn't the traffic fairly tough with a traffic light on every corner, basically? The tomb of the Unknown Soldier is pretty cool and there would be parking available. Whatever you decide will probably work out. I would like to see the wild horses.
I think the dates will dictate a lot of it.
