My nephew is into cars & his buddy has a dyno shop. If anyone is interested he said he could set something up for us. Just another option for something to do. |

TTT My 2008 calendar is filling up, so if this is going to happen, we need to know. My son lives there if you need something "specifically" checked out, I can ask him, but he would not know about checking around a number of places to see if they would do for a large event. |

Don't know who all is working on this event, but we saw TopKat aka Jim Reece (who I thought was heading up this event) on T.V. last night at the Barrett Jackson auction. I'm sure he's probably not on the computer to see this.  |

I also seen TopCat last night at B-J auction on Speed,,,,,but it was just a short glance for a few seconds. Tangled up in Blue,,,Roger and Larry Lord,,,,and Kala are also scheduled to attend Barrett-Jackson this year. Bob Hacker passed on attending this year,,,and I thought Dale Beaman said he may be coming out? Sorry if some of you guys think I dropped the ball on this or let you down. The event is still on and I will post more very soon. This event has not been at the top of my priority list. Some of you who know me, know that I have had a great deal of money tied up in couple of cars and they were to be consigned to Barrett-Jackson this year. The final stages of preperation required every minute of my time away from my real job. Well, both ars are now sold and I can resume my efforts on the summer event in VA. Beach. I never did have plans for this to be the largest event..... I began planning this event for us to have fun, and it will be. Planning an event is not easy..... just ask CJ, Geno Tex, Marty,and the others who have spent countless hours of their time so that YOU can have some fun!!! This will be a fun week and if you should desire to join us.....then Welcome. Jim |

Jim, glad to hear that this is still "on". We are looking forward to it since the trip to Denver is very doubtful at this point. The ECP always has fun and we know this will be a great event. Have you got any dates in mind, at this point? |

Jim, some of us have to plan ahead for these events and it is difficult when no feedback is received on the status. We certainly plan on making this event since both Denver and Woodward are out for us, but I do have to schedule to be out of the office...... |

The dates I am scheduling is July 13th-20th. I am leaving for Va. Beach early tomorrow morning to continue to work with Hotels for the best deal and accomodations we all will enjoy. The major problem has been finding a place on or near the beach that everyone can afford and yet has the parking, and other amenities we all desire. Most hotels offer only one parking spot per guest. I realize there will be Prowler trailers and haulers to park as well. I will come back this weekend with a hotel package and post it next week. Some of the ones I have spoken with should have answers for me this weekend. Again, I will post info next week for those of you who desire to join us.
