Laddie - does anything UNOFFICIAL start prior to Wednesday? Reba and I are on vacation that entire week. Options include a few days in New Orleans - always fun, a couple of days at the beach - if any condo rentals are available, or arriving early and cruising if things really start early. Marty. I'll post names about a month ahead of time for those that I have... I'll need a headcount for luuch Friday, OCt. 11th at the Prowler Drags. Working with someone to provide this for us... On CTC activities, this year for the first time, they are actually starting on Sunday, Oct. 6th with a Food festival, and stuff and other activities for Mon & Tues (First year for these Pre official CTC activities). I won't be able to make any of those... Now, there is a block party on Wed. Morning in Biloxi (used to be in Gulfport). I've never been able to make it... Checkout the schedule of events under http://www.cruisinthecoast.com/. If you come to New Orleans early, I should be able to meet up with you at some point. I'll be posting my schedule soon. I plan to arrive around noon on Wed. for CTC registration in Gulfport and go from there... |

Took little trip to Casino Magic in Bay St. Louis, MS today. We have 12 rooms booked on the POA group. The Bay Towers hotel is new and you could still smell fresh paint. There's another new restaurant and a Spa for the ladies. Any golfers, there's an Arnold Palmer designed golf course. http://www.casinomagic.com/html/bsl.html The back of the hotel & casino sits on the Bay. Here's a couple of pics...

Laddie, I just looked at the photos on http://www.cruisinthecoast.com/ and saw a familiar looking car on the 4th set of pictures. COOL. There are some fabulous cars there, that is for sure. Ed. Yes, there are some fantastics Cars and lots of Cruisin'. In that shot in Gallery #4 the Woodward belongs to Jesse Casey from Pensacola, FL. We were parked in Ole Town Bay St. Louis (one of the sites my favorite) next to the Dock of the Bay (owned & operated by Jerry Fisher from Blood Sweat & Tears). In Gallery #3 the Woody with surf boards and trailering an Indian MC belongs to fellow Prowler owner Dave Foshee from Houston. He was there last year along with Ray Bartells and both are planning to be back this year...

Added current Attendee list to top of post...(based on POA posts, emails or conversations with me) for Cruisin' the Coast (Oct. 9th to 13th) and the Prowler Drags (Oct. 11th). According to Jay, there's probably another 10 to 12 Florida Prowler owners coming who are not on my list yet... Only eleven (11) of these owners have rooms booked (15 rooms) at the Casino Magic in Bay St. Louis. September 1st is the last date to book these rooms using the POA block. After Sept. 1st the block will be opened to the public... |

Added three and removed three from attendee list. Also added the reservation list for the Holiday Inn Friday night in Gonzales, LA and the Saturday night at Casino Magic in Bay St. Louis, MS... Attendee List for Cruisin' the Coast and Prowler Drags Oct. 2002 updated 9/28/02 Here's the current attendee list (as of 9/28/02 based on POA posts, emails or conversations with me) for Cruisin' the Coast (Oct. 9th to 13th) and the Prowler Drags (Oct. 11th). We have 19 rooms booked at Casion Magic in Bay St. Louis (list attached) and 13 rooms at the Holiday Inn in Gonzales for the Prowler Drags (list attached for Friday night the 11th). We still have the 30 rooms available in Gonzales until Oct. 1st & the rate for POA is $59. We do have some of our CTC attendees staying at different Hotels along the MS Gulf Coast.

Thanks to Jay Harris we have a special shimmer for Crusin' the Coast 2002. These will be provided to anyone with one of Jay's Shimmer products or SSS... The purple was the 2001 edition and the Cracked'ice is the 2002 edition...
