I have again received a few emails from people wanting gears. I'm currently working on a possible solution. If there is enough interest, I may be able to make gears available again. Post or PM if you are interested. Thanks -- Tony |

Tony, do you have the stats for the gears? I have seen them before but do not remember were. Stats with your gears vs. stock gears would be nice to know. Thanks |

G-Force Stage-II Performance Gears have been released. Stage-II gears provide a 24% change in final drive ratio. (27% on previous gear sets) For 1/4 mile runs, this means your car will NOT want to shift out of 3rd until farther down the track.

Nullmind wanted to know the drawbacks. I figure he could figure out the benefits without the benefit of me pointing out the obvious. I think reverse remains the same. lol |

Thanks for all the research Rich! I remember my Orange Prowler pulling much harder from the line, and I also remember it getting a pretty serious second Gear Scratch upon shifting first to second. Even going sideways a bit in colder weather. I remember the engine no longer searching for gears in the hills pulling the trailer too. What I remember best was the "red light, green light" quickness. It pulled much harder to 60, and seemed to run out of breath around 80 MPH. Ed organized a trip to KY speedway once and We hit around 105 to 110 in the Prowler. But she was done pulling hard way before that. The gears were fun with the Borla Exhaust. I had an MTD Intake too which et it breath a bit easier. I'll figure it all out once I get it back which will be this week. Thanks! John |

My Goodness, I posted a reply to the Gears Discussion and by Mistake, accidently posted in this Old post started by Tony 6 years ago.... I noticed that the last post on this thread before I mistakenly posted this AM was from SteelCityProwler, John Lonsinger from Eaton Ohio who I never met but chatted with a ton. He was a super good guy and passed last June. Was hoping to meet him in West Virginia. Didn't happen. Very sad. John
