Randall, great post. It will be fun to get together with the Viper group. At first we thought we would get 10 to 15 cars. This event is really getting big. We have booked 35 rooms at the Towne Plaza. The only difference is a kitchen at the Towne Plaza. That is 1/3 of the rooms. The rep. wants to save rooms for the general public, but as our event gets closer, she will let you change rooms if you want. I have a 10 room block at the Courtyard (next door), but can add more. Please book as soon as possible & let me know how many Viper people will be attending. This is shaping up to be a great weekend. Any questions let me know. I posted earlier in response to your shirt order and said I was in for two. That will be a LARGE and an X-LARGE. Are they polo's, tee's, printed, embroidered, or? Any idea of the price. Still working on the shirts. The Tees are no problem. They are of better quality & the person told me they will last longer than a reg. Tee. They are a lot cooler & won't wrinkle as much. Since it's 4 colors ,the price will be $22.00 a shirt. My plan was to add $5.00 to each shirt & split the money between each website. Let me know if this is O.K. with you. Got them to give us one price for all sizes up to 2X, 3,4,5,6X $10.00 more. Since it's better quality, there a different cuts for men & woman. When you order, please tell me if you want a mans or ladies. I'll start a separate post for the shirts. The polo cost $34.00 a shirt. Since there's no logo on the back, not sure what to put on the front breast. Might just keep it to Tees at this point. Any suggestions? |

Thanks to the reply about the shirts. It sounds like tee's are in. One ladies large and one men's x-large please. In all due respect to you for all of the effort you have put forth in this event I will not respond to the extra $5.00 you are talking about. It's seems appropriate for some people on this site lately to turn a good thing into a personnel vendetta and a sound off link. On second thought, to keep the cost down for the event, I think we'll just offer the shirt for $22.00. If you want to donate to a site, do it on your own. Sorry for any confusion. |

Just checked with the hotel & the block of 10 rooms at the Marriott Courtyard, next door, is full. I added another block of 10 more rooms. Thanks to all that want to see the Rock. This is going to be a great weekend. So far, 45 rooms have been booked. I'll post an update soon. Still working on the shirts...........Mac |

I have some bad news on the shirts for the Ohio event. The lady that I've been working with, just called me & said she couldn't do the shirts, after getting the type of shirt, price, ect. But she said not to worry, she had someone that could do them. I contacted him & he wanted me to order 100 shirts. I'm really pissed. I haven't given up yet, but back to square one. We don't need no stinking T-shirts. lol Mac, things don't always go as planned. Everyone will still have a great time. We usually remember the stuff that went wrong and laugh about it for years. We got lost in Canada going to the winery and that was very memorable as MeanGene aggravated the crap out of the woman trying to get us to wait to eat the crackers until after we tasted the wine. We were all starving and ate the crackers. Don't sweat the small stuff. We can all cope with whatever happens. |

Checked with the hotel & they said a few people are coming in on Thursday, June 14th. Just wanted to tell them, we will be leaving the hotel at 8:15 AM. to go to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. If you miss us, you can get directions from the hotel on how to get there. I'll leave a map where we are going after that at the desk. |

Mac, correct your post above. Thursday is June 13 and Friday is June 14. According to the Viper agenda the Rock and roll trip is on Friday June 14. Which is it?? |
