Geno,,don't be so sure about that,,more bad weather heading your way.....

Winter Storm hits South-Central Arizona

With all the news lately about the subzero weather and snow that
the Midwest and east coast areas are experiencing, we shouldn't
forget that Phoenix also has had its share of devastating weather this winter.
Attached is a photo showing damage to a home from a recent storm that passed through the Phoenix area. It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take life for granted. See photo below.

Finally it's above 70*F here in south Florida. Here is a photo I took on March 9, 2010 at the Jupiter Inlet.

We are currently getting lots and lots of rain here in my area.

Typically I do not like rain but since it means the roads will be cleaner so I can take the Kat out sooner than later, Let it Rain!

same thing here in Indiana. Lots of rain to clean the roads of the winter crud

Now as long as we don't get a little freezing weather and another SALT STORM, the cat can come out on the next good day.

We got plenty of rain, but roads are so tore up from plowing and freezing it sounds like sandblasting bottom of car while driving due to all the loose gravel on roads. Hopefully roads will be better soon.

The wife and I took a nice ride in the Prowler yesterday up the coast here in SW Florida and then back through downtown Naples to check out the drunks left over from our St Patrick's parade. It was a beautiful day. Never had so many comments and waves and thumbs up. Only had this car for a short while but we are loving it.

TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YEAH

Top down and drove it about 50 miles. 1st time out this year. Probably will drive it tomorrow night too before the next BIG SALT STORM coming this weekend since they are predicting flurries this weekend. This time of year we get more salt than snow.

Had some kid in new challenger wanting to race, seen the idiot turn into parking lot shortly after we left the house and start doing donuts, then cruising home he pulls up next to me, slows to check the car out, nails it at about 40 and barks the tires, not sure if RT or SRT, sounded real good and left like rocket. The Prowler would be no match for it.

My guess it was his dads car. had Disable Vet plate and he was a very young guy with young girl as passenger. Yes he could be one of our finest that was injured, but the way he was driving he will be injured soon when he losses control and totals the car

We were going to try a show on Peir 21 in Galveston this weekend, but we are back up to a 60% chance of rain, so that is out. But it looks like most of us are getting closer to Prowlin Weather.

This thread has been a whole lot of fun for me this winter, thanks to all that have viewed and posted replies. I hope we all get out on the roads soon!!!

Had mine out yesterday and today like driving a new car, Same questions every year, How many miles you got on that sweet ride, What year is it, Is it fast, Is that a custom color, what year was that last year of the prowler and how much did you pay for that, Take a guess, a like 200k.

I had mine out for a top down whirlwind tour today. I got caught in a whirlwind, and so far I've removed 3 bags of leaves from the car. But it sure was a great day to have it out!

Finally got to drive the BT tuesday! Wow love this car. Got the photoshoot today with Dino Petrocelli. Dino was OCC's photographer when they were popular and was the one who did all the shots for their magazine bikes. Cant wait to see how these turn out. Plus Dino is a real good friend of ours, so I know he will get some killer shots!

Drove mine yesterday downtown to the Georgia World Congress Center. It will be in a display of Mopars at the International Auto Show. It is hard to leave it for 10 days, but I get to go "baby-sit" the collection of a dozen Mopars all week.
I'm going to get the Dart out tomorrow and cruise in it a little.

A record 74 degrees here today (normal high for March 20th is 48) but the roads are horrible. In addition to the sand, salt & chemicals the pot holes are the worse I've seen in years. Hopefully they open the asphalt plants soon and the local DPW's can start filling the pot holes. No matter what I'm guessing it's another 3-4 weeks before it's safe for the Prowler. I'm trying to be patient but it's killing me!

I finally had the opportunity to take my Kat out and stretch it's legs some today.
I went to a Corvair club get together. There was a good turnout.
Regretfully my Corvair still sits.

I keep saying, "tomorrow" and it never gets here. I have been riding the bike and cleaning it up a bit. I have been trying to polish the bike's aluminum rims and they are somewhat hard to get to. Maybe tomorrow.

I've got a '64 110 coupe (and a spyder convertible that needs work)that I take out to some of the shows and activities. It gets a lot of attention, but not as much as the Kat.
