The scene is the same around here for miles and miles, not just my 6 acres. All the creeks are full, the lakes and ponds are overflowing, and there is no place for the water to go. The lake in my backyard is normally 13 feet deep at the end of the pier, 20+ deep at the dam. I am getting runoff from the ponds upstream, and the lake behind me is overflowing, so mine won't empty through the spillway anymore, as the spillway is now 3 feet over its banks. Instead of being it's normal foot wide, it is 20 feet wide and erosion behind my dam is a concern now. We are all under flood warnings up here every time it rains right now. If it would have rained another half hour, I would have been stopped on the highway a few miles from home due to water over the roadway. And Washington & Lee Counties got it worse than us today.

I may trailer the Purple Kat to a get together Wednesday night at Whataburger in College Station, it will be the first time since mid September that the Purple has been anywhere!

I have had a bad cold the last 4 days, and the gokart wheelcovers have not arrived yet, so I haven't finished putting together the Mulholland gokart, but hope to have it assembled and some pictures posted soon.

Ole, Ole!! It was a sunburst & FUN-filled day here!!

Last Sat's (Feb 13) Prowler Cruisin’ while Valentine Breezin! Cruise, Beer Tour & Lunch was a blast. With 16 fun-loving P-family members around, somehow this simple event, like the past ones always generated the happy moments.

Spring has sprung!! It was sunny change for the better & Mother Nature blessed 16 P-family members with a soothing feeling of sun-blazed freshness. Temps in the lo 70's.
