ho,ho,ho, ton´s of snow in front of my housedoor, tonight again, its snows a lot. ( I hate snow, I hate to clean the walkway and driveway in front of the house, I hate to put the ice & snow of my car,... maybe I should move to California.

My Prowler got no drop of rain past year, no salt ever, and it should stay this way. I will be Prowlin´ in late april again . . . .

7 degrees this morning. About 2 inches of snow on the road. This nasty liquid they treat the roads with now is terrible on car finishes. It's gonna be a long time till the Spring rains wash it off. I figure 3 more months before the cars come out.

It was 5 degrees this morning, up to 22 now! I wouldn't mind driving the Prowler in the cold, but there is SO much salt on the roads! On and off flurries today, too! Oh well, it won't be long.........January is almost over!!!

I always said I would never drive my car in the snow! We just got home from Florida and we drove in snow yesterday from Eastern Alabama, through heavy snow in Tennessee (Nashville), all through Kentucky and here in Southern Indiana. It never snowed ON us but we had to drive through it. Actually the car handled very good under the circumstances. Hardly made it down our street and into the garage though (picture attached). The Prowler is absolutely filthy.

When we left Florida we had heard that a snow storm had passed overnight but we just never expected the amount of snow. The State Highway Departments (all 3 States) did a marvelous job of clearing the major highways. We had heard the weatherman in Evansville predicted less than an inch. We received over 8" inches here at the house. So much for predictions.

We are under a "Freezing Fog Advisory" until 9am. I have never heard of Freezing Fog, and never have I seen that sort of advisory here.

Where is my global warming Algore, where???

Tom,

I experienced freezing fog once just north of Toledo, OH traveling down I-75. It was the strangest thing I'd ever experienced. We've drove through 100 year blizzards and been stopped in blizzard white-outs spending the night in a National Guard Amory in York, NE. Freezing fog was the worst. It was like freezing rain with the roads a skating rink and a blizzard white-out. Scary dangerous!

That does sound bad Bob, never saw anything like that here before, and the advisory never materialized for this morning. It was cold, but no fog or freezing fog. Just seems like we are having the wettest winter I have seen in years. It has been colder here, but just not wet all of the time like it is now. I have so many "outside" projects I want to start on, just can't get anything done right now. And I hate that I haven't been able to get the cars out for so long!

Well, this is getting ridiculous! More storms today!

I can't even see my driveway anymore, the pier to the lake is now looks to be 10 feet into the lake because the level is so high, the backyard is totally underwater, and from what I can see, some of my front yard and driveway has washed away!

Tom - you really need to get out there and aerate your yard. I know saturation is one thing, but I use to have standing water in my back yard and it would come up to the back door and into the house on occasions, so I went out there with a shovel and stabbed around the yard one day and haven't had the issue since.
