I thought it might be helpful if we had this thread as a database to refer to as a guide to potential problems, when they might occur, and the warning signs. I mean any problem at all you experienced, right down to the center caps.... Here's the question: Have you ever experienced a problem with your Prowler? If YES, list how many miles the problem occurred at, and if there is any other info you might want to add about your problem. If NO, tell us how many trouble-free miles you have enjoyed! Tell us the year of your Prowler regardless of yes or no. I hope this thread is taken for it's intent as a helpful database reference, and not a slam in any way on my favorite car I have ever owned! I'll start: 2001 Black Tie Had front shocks (leaking) replaced at 4,100 miles Chrome on Front wheels just starting to bubble on inside...corrosion has started. Bal Joint recall. That's about it. Hack, It's replies like that that is reassurring....I need to see some people reply with no problems experienced....I'm tired of being paranoid that my rims ar going to peel, my shocks are going to leak, my roof will rip in half...etc. I need to see that these things don't happen to EVERYBODY. This thread could be very valuable to people like me who will hit the 3 year warranty mark this summer. I do have extended warranty but it is not as comprehensive as the 3yr. I have 12,000 trouble free miles, but will enjoy knowing what to look out for based on others experience. It would be helpful to know the symptoms that preceded your problem or failure.
