Let us all put aside everything and pray for the people trapped in the worl trade center in NYC. It is apparent that this was a terrorist attack probably by OsmaBin Laden Now we will see what our President is made of. We should if found that Bin Laden is responsibile, we should BOMB the HELL out of the country that shelters him!!! |

A friend of ours works behing the WTC and just called and said that NYC is in massive panic and all shut down. The second Trade Center building has collapsed on itself from above where the second plane hit. The pictures, by the way are unbelievable! Haven't seen any pics from the Pentagon. Our friend says it looks just like two volcanoes. All air traffic over USA has been ordered to land asap, etc... The first group to take credit was some Palestinian group, but no mention of Ben Ladin. This is truly a massive terrorist attack involving three planes. We need to pray for our leaders and for all the many thousands of people involved. |

Im listening to the radio right now and it sounds like all hell has broke loose on the US. The pentagon, white house, and WTC. Where will it all stop? Someone i am sure will try to take responsibility for a crime this large and that person will go down for what they have done. An unbelievable attack on our country and what a sad day for all of us. Our prayers and thoughts for all who have lost their lives and all of the families that will be affected by that. If we counter-attack and/or a war ensues, please pray for our military and all those who serve. I will never understand the purpose of these attacks on our country and thousands of innocent people. It is not our war. What is the point......what is the purpose? The news is now saying that on a typical work day, there are about 10,000 people per tower that would be in the buildings. They have also just reported that the Fire and Police have evacuated a high school down the street from the Trade Center as a bomb has been reported in the building. In Detroit, the following has been closed and/or shut down: Detroit Metropolitan Airport God help us all! ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! My wife works in NYC and she saw the toweres collapse before her eyes. All the bridges, tunnels, subways are closed down. Manhattan is under a lock-up. Alot of my friends work in the WTC and I haven't heard from any of them. I just pray there is no more bombing an that they open up some bridges so that my wife and others can get home safely to their loved ones. So far, they are saying over 10,000 people are dead and they are going door to door to ask everyone to donate blood. Let's hope the people responsible for this diaster are found and eliminated. ------------------ |

Words cannot express my saddness. We must now show the world that the US will not tolerate such acts. When it found whom is responcible, not only bomb their country but VAPORIZE it. Alex - I always agree with you, but this time I will not. Vaporizing a country at fault, means nothing to these people. Its their goals and short insight that they want the world to know who they are and what they stand for. Life itself means nothing to these people. Its hard for us to understand that, but so true. Rushing in to attack a third world country will only make matters worse. I do not claim to have any real answers to this problem, just know that more and worse things would continue to happen. I have always advocated reducing foreign aid to zilch. We give so much to so many, and look what they do to us. Like Vietnam, we went to go fight for their freedom and they didn't give a crap about their freedom, just improving their lifestyle while we were there. What a waste of life, I'm sorry.

It is tragedy that the security of the United States has been broken. Our #1 priority is not education or health care it is security. Due to the down sizing of our Military for the past decade. I am confident that President Bush who is a strong supporter of the Military will do the right thing. God Bless the families of those who lost a love one. ------------------ |

Larry, respecfully I understand your opinion. But, If this is some idiot like Ben Laden, he must be nuked/destroyed or he will do it again. I don't have the exact answer, but I do know that this cannot go without justice to those whom have lost their lives today. If these terrorists don't respect life and it is obvious that they do not respect ours, well then they must be dealt with in the MOST severe manner. I took the mpeg they had and played with it and condensed it into a half a meg or so gif file. Some of you modem folks will be able to download this withing a 5 minute period.
