I received the repaired rear slider and rail from Tom Mills on Friday and finished the install over the weekend. Once again, perfect workmanship by the Tom Mills Team.

The window adjustments were so fouled up by the previous owner that it took me hours to finally get the window adjustments correct. Just follow the instructions provided, and like Tom says, take your time and be patient, and you can get the adjustments where they need to be. I could not go by where the previous scratch marks were, since the settings had been changed so many times when the previous owners tried to compensate for the broken regulator, and then they finally broke the slider. It works perfectly now.

Next project is the passenger side A Arms and ball joint. I have the parts in hand ready to replace the bent upper and the broken lower, just need to find the time now.

Just finished up with some work on the Dune Buggy Project, so hopefully I can get to this soon.

Thanks again Tom Mills and all the folks at Jefferson Automotive for getting me past the Fuel Pump and Window Regulator hurdles on my Project Prowler.

Haven’t posted in awhile but I have been working a little on the Silver Prowler Project on and off when I’m not traveling.
I have replaced the right side upper and lower control arms over the last several weekends and everything went back together perfectly. The lower ball joint was completely unattached, but both the upper and lower bolts were a little difficult to get out of the knuckle. The lower control arm is otherwise in great shape but the upper is really bent from when the lower balljoint failed on the previous owner. Don’t know if these can be straightened out, so I’ll save it in the parts bin in case anyone has some info on that.
She is up and driving now, ready for inspection and new registration. Adjustments are close, but it does need an alignment now. This past weekend was actually the first time I have driven the car since purchasing last year!!! With 104,000 miles, I will take it in for timing belt and water pump replacement sometime in the future. I have all those parts on hand.
Once I get the inspection and registration done when I’m home next week, then it’s off with the rag top and test fit the M&L Top.

After driver her around some, the fuel gauge started working again. I stopped to top off the tank and now it is reading full.

Waiting on my Son to have a day that he can come up and help me lift the M&L Delivery Top onto the car so we can test fit everything and possibly bolt it on.

Making progress, a little at a time. Just have too many projects going on at once!
