It's been typically hot and humid with almost daily rain showers here in Florida so have not had the Prowler out much. I have been working with Wallygator putting together a Prowler cruise to the Keys for this Nov 5th to 8th. |

Made the trip to the Colorado event in June, made some new friends and visited with old ones, put over 3,000 miles on that trip. Been driving a couple of times a week locally just joy riding or local cruise nights. Door County is coming up September 10 to the 13th. A small group will gather there for some good food, sightseeing and visit with old friends. There are a few rooms left as I understand it. We will be staying at The Landing Resort in Egg Harbor Wi. phone number 920-868-3282 PM me for more information. |

Thanks for bringing this up Bob. I'm still around but seldom get my car out due to business obligations and other projects. I purchased a small 720 square feet cabin on 6 acres in Idyllwild in the nearby mountains last year to use as a working getaway and remote office. I still plan events. Many of you know that I have an extensive racing background. My latest project is a combined reunion for many of the Southern California race tracks. Click the link to see what is happening. I have MANY big name drivers attending. The list includes drivers from nearly every type and era of racing cars. We even have 2 Indianapolis 500 winners attending. Jimmy Oskie, Bob Hogle, Parnelli Jones, Chuck Hulse, Richard Schaeffer, Richard Parks (son of Wally Parks), Jim Minks, Ed Ferro, Ed Iskenderian, Louie Senter and many others will be attending. We will have a static display of all eras of race cars during the reunion. Corona Raceway reunion Sept. 12 & 13, 2015 I miss my Prowler friends but grew weary of the irritation and bickering of the website. It's not as much fun as it used to be for me. I still check in occasionally but nowhere near like I used to. ------------------ This message has been edited by Larry Lord on 08-23-2015 at 04:02 PM |

Greetings. It's been a long time since I posted. I miss all my Prowler friends, except Ed (it's stock, remember?) Well, tonight my Prowler adventures came to an end. I sold my 2002 Inca Gold Kat and the enclosed hauler took it away just a few minutes ago. I cannot begin to thank everyone for the years of support and friendship. Thank you all. Kevin |

Friends, I have sold all of my Prowlers over the last months. My last one, a 2001 Orange, went 3 weeks ago to a new owner who actually registered as a new member on the POA. It has been a lot of fun and I will certainly show up during some of the events next year. Have fun and enjoy. Kees ------------------ |

Kees, Although I only met you a couple times at events and have enjoyed your posts, I am saddened at this announcement. I imagine selling a car you enjoy so much can be difficult but we all go through it at one time or another. The up side is that you will always have the memories and the friendships you entered into as a result of your interest in the car. With some luck, we will hear of your purchasing yet another one sometime in the future. Best Wishes to you. |

MANY fond memories of several Prowler events over the years. Thanks to Mike and Judy K. and all the great people that make up this Prowler community. I'll try and post more often but as my kids have graduated high school (twins) it has gotten pretty hectic.

I owned this mint orange Prowler for 8 years before selling it to Kees. If the new owner wants any information on prior history they contact me as I would like to stay in touch with this car. If by any chance my original Ga plate is still with the car I would love to have it back

Times change, people change, priorities change. As long as the site has its "Prowler historians" like CJ and RPL and members with technical/problem solving knowledge of the Prowler vehicle itself, the club/site has no issue with survival. |

"Where have all the Prowler owner(s) gone?" Without much trouble, I figure I could find at least 100+ Prowler owners who sold their cars over the past 15 years.... So why would they come back to the site? They have moved on..... Yes, there are some that do come back to chat on occasion, but even that number is dropping. Then there are others who stop back in to sell their dusty take-off stored parts and collectables that they find out in the garage. I do notice several members who show up as being 'online' at times,,,but they are ones who rarely, if ever, posted anyway. There are others who only stop in when they have a problem with their car, and want advice. Maybe we should start a new thread and list members we know who have sold their cars,,, wrecked their cars and didn't replace with another Prowler,,,and/or passed away? |

I would like some of the old timers to answer this question. How long do you have to own your Prowler to be a "Prowler Vet"? I've noticed some guys who have bought a Prowler and proclaim they'll never sell it and before you know it after 1 year their Prowler is for sale and it's adios. I've had mine now since 2011 and there is no doubt I'll never sell. I think it's cool for those who bought new and are still here after all these years. |

NEVER SAY NEVER. There comes the time when we must give up our favorite toys. When I purchased my Prowler new, I never gave a thought to the day I would have to part with it. I am not anxious to give my Black Tie up; however, I will have no choice. quote: This message has been edited by JeraneW on 09-14-2015 at 06:36 PM |

Some of the folks who have purchased a used Prowler in the past few years have gone stark raving mad buying every after market part that they can find. They say it is the most fun car they have ever owned and then they put it up for sale. I realize that is close to what Silvercat posted, I only added the part about all of the add ons. They are totally gung-ho and then it is all over. A lot of the folks who bought them new, back in 97-02 AND HAVE ATTENDED A LOT OF EVENTS, still own their Prowlers, but don't post much. Folks that didn't participate much don't seem to have the same attachment as it is now more about the people and not so much about the car. If you show up at events and meet a lot of other owners, you seem to become a "veteran" a lot more quickly. Other opinions will probably vary, especially from a few folks. quote: I agree, never say never. As the saying goes $hit Happens. I don't have any plans on selling, but as we get older things change. I do agree with Ed about about attending events and meeting others. When I first bought mine 11 years ago I thought I will keep it for a year, just to say I owned one. Then joined East Coast Posse, now 11 years later I own 2 and enough other Prowler stuff I'm running out of room for stuff. |
