Here as usual. I have only had the Kat out a few times this season but always enjoy it when I do go anywhere with it.

This year I am less active than I would like to be but with a little luck, next year will see some improvement.

The weather here in the UK is fantastic, took my black 2000 out again today! Went to the local DIY store to get some tools but took a while as a young boy wanted his photo with the car when I arrived and a guy from South Africa was asking me all about it when I left.

Nice surprise last week as I took it to a classic car show at Helmingham Hall, fantastic variety of cars and as I arrived and parked I was 2 cars down from a 2001 Chrysler Prowler that is also local to me. We left at the same time so I followed him back, only a handful of Prowlers in the UK so it was rare sight to see 2 of them blasting along the back roads of Suffolk and great for me to see one on the move.

We have the NHRA hot rod nationals in Ipswich at the end of August so looking forward to that. If anyone from the UK is going would be great to meet up. Glad to hear everyone is enjoying their Prowler as much as I am. All the best. Nick.

Picture of last NHRA meet but size not quite right!

Been so busy this year, that I've not driven my cars much. Shock and disbelief, right? Have spent 9 weeks at various times, visiting my son and family in CO. We've had a lot of rain and busy doing house projects. I took my Candy Cat to the CEMA car show and a couple other times. Haven't driven the Kid car except off the lift and back on it. Black cat up north has not been out yet (too much rain with gravel road). Sigh..........

Gearing up for Dream Cruise this week! Raining today!!!!

------------------
The REAL CJ - The One and Only
1999 Black - PPROWLR
2002 Deep Candy Red - CJPROWLN
2002 Black California Kid Prowler - CAL KID

The Prowler makes you smile. Why? Because it's focused. It has a plot, a reason for being, a passion. It evokes the hot rod. It evokes the American Dream. This car is the human psyche.

DrillinU, that's one of the best and cheapest mods out there. LOL. You need to add a small Punisher decal over the black tape. HaHa.

I'm up North here in NH for the summer. The Prowler is in Florida resting. Have been going to Cruise Nights and Car Shows with the Shelby Cobra. I love the Cobra but am missing the Prowler. Have signed up to do the Key West run in November. Looking forward to it and also to meet new Prowler people!

Try to check in on the site a few times a week, but a few home DIY projects have me side-tracked this year. Have used less than one tank of gas in the Prowler this year. Even the Prowler stablemates have not been out of the garage much. Soon as the temps break this month, it should make for a perfect time to get it out regularly.

We are doing great. Not much Prowling, but busy with life and business.
A few years ago, I started selling my mods to survive a hard time. Dragon panels, Real Rod pan and bumpers and several other items.
The Black Tie is almost stock again. With 97,000 miles, it is still looking like new and have not had any problems with the car.
MANY great times, life-long friends and memories. It is wonderful to hear from so many old-timers like myself. Brad and Angie.

Things started tumbling for me last fall.... my mom became more ill and was in a nursing home... in January she passed which was a blessing
because she was suffering terribly for the past couple years.... my little sister passed 4 years previous and events that we go through
like these can't help but change us....
The winter was horrible here... we had record snowfall and this just killed the roads...
I normally get the Prowler out in April but the potholes were so bad everywhere that it was impossible without risking damage...
up until 2 weeks ago it rained what seemed like everyday since it stopped snowing...
the few good days we had I drove the Hellkat. It was wonderful....
In March I started my own Stained Glass Studio as a small business, still have my day job
that takes up 11 hours of my days so the glass work is a second job... all together with the 2 I was working 70-75 hours per week...
the company I work for was sold to make things more complicated...so driving the Prowler has been much less than other years...

Right now I'm on vacation putting the 70 hours per week in at the studio trying to build up an inventory...

60 years old and working 2 jobs... what was I thinking ?

I finally dug the Prowler out last Friday and went to the drive in movies with the car club. Then just cruised around town till bout 1a.m. Was so much fun I did it again Saturday night. Trying to see if theres any way to do the Deveils Hwy trip this year, but I just cant get things arranged. For those who havent ever been, you shouldnt miss it if possible. Really a good time.

Well I see there has been pretty much a common theme thus far and that is many seem to have less time to drive and enjoy our Prowlers. I thought as we got older we supposed to have more time on our hands but that seems not to be the case. What's up with that? The weather has also been a factor for us this year. June and July we had more rainy days than not.

Well, I guess I'm the exception to the rule. I will be 70 in two weeks and have not had a job since I retired 20 years ago at age 50. I'm living the dream down here in Florida taking my Kat to a multitude of car shows, cruising around just about every day in it( 12,000 miles in the last 2 years) and going to Prowler events ( went to the Smokies event in Tenn. last October and am going to make the Florida Keys trip this November). I feel bad for those my age that still have to work. LOL. There is nothing like retirement! I'm lovin' it. Everyone, keep on prowlin' whenever you can.

Lots of shows here and lots of women at these shows that go crazy over the Prowler. It's like they never seen one before.

giving prowler toy cars out to the kids is the best of all.

Thanks Gadster, that week was the most fun I've had in the Prowler since I bought it.
Hoping to do it again next summer, hope you can make it up again...

Too damn hot to be in the Kat, getting it out of paint shop tomorrow for nose touch up, hood bubble paint, and bumper replacement lights painted. Then probably in for ball joints, alignment, and steering shaft replacement.

I thought we had all the potholes and we do not have winter or frost to cause the damage. Politics determine what gets done here.

I'm in the Azores at the moment, back in London on Saturday, if all goes well I'll pick up my car on Monday (17th) and I'll finally be able to ride it !

Can't wait, then I can properly call myself a prowler owner
