I used a 30 pin to lightning adapter (available from Apple) with my iPhone 6+. It works exactly the same as my iPhone 4 did before I upgraded.

Just to let everyone know the ISCH72 is still available, just received mine from icarkits.com. It can with the wrong cable (PXCH2), but it looks like I will be able to get the PXCH1 cable from a local distributor.

I have a used ISCH72 that I'd sell for $50.00. I replaced my stereo last year and I am not using it anymore.

I just got my Isimple and tried to connect it to my car. No luck, I ordered it through icarkits . I also purchased an 30 pin lightning adapter at the apple store too because I was told that aftermarket adapters are useless. When I connect everything the radio will not even go to the mode. The iPod seems to connect part way because it does show it is charging. I read the previous post an it says I may need PXHCH1 cable. How do you know what cable I got with the kit? The cable has a tag saying Chrysler 2000-2001. My car is a 2000.

The wrong cable won't even plug in, IF I recall correctly.
I will look into it and post some pictures.

Look at the first page on this thread. Way back when I posted pictures and explained that the instructions were not correct. It is about the 18th post.
If you look at those pictures that ought to clarify for you if you have the correct plug. Again, they claim to push a couple of the buttons but that is not correct.
Good luck and let us know if you figure it out.

The wrong cable will plug in, but the head unit will not recognize the CD (iSimple device). Macs definitely has the wrong cable. Believe it or not, you can get the correct cable (PXHCH1 Aux Integration Harness For Chrysler 1995-2000)from Walmart online $7.95
Here it is:

I fought with the cable for awhile and I did a search on the site and found a thread that someone had the exact same problem and they also recommended that I order the PC1 cable even though my cable said 2000-2001 Chrysler but it appears that the only cable that works is the one labeled 1997-2000 Chrysler which is the PC1 cable. I ordered it and should get it soon. It only cost $10.00. Hopefully it works

OK I've installed mine using the advise and pictures above. I've set the switches 1,4 and 8 to on. When I tap the mode button the only thing I'm seeing is FM and AM. Am I missing something or is there something else that I need to do? Thanks.

ISIMPLE ISCH72

This is the one I installed and works great. Hard to find? Don't know the difference between the cheaper priced ones, but was plug and play through CD mode with steering wheel controls. One left on ebay.

I checked and it appears I have the wrong cable, which says 2000-2001 on it. I've ordered the CH1 cable, hopefully that will allow it to be recognized.

New cable arrived today. Plugged it in and it recognized everything immediately and works like a charm. Thanks to everyone who responded / helped, appreciated.
