once again this site amazed me, installed my ISimple today in at least 15 min. thanks to everyone who makes it easy for every one. |

I believe the newest generation of Ipod is generation 5. Will it work with it? I don't have the Iphone. |

I'm far from an expert on apple products but I'm pretty sure the iPhone 5 will not work. Might wànt to try contacting isimple. They probably make a different wire for the 5. |

Amazon has these again. I just ordered one for the 97. I think it was $79 with free shipping. If you have a garage queen you won't need this but if you take some trips and want to listen to your own music, this is the way to go. |

I got it today and just installed it. Tami and SuperDave had stated you could just plug it in where the CD changer is hooked in. I removed the CD changer with two nuts, plugged it in and it works great in just a few minutes. You need Cable # 1, no matter what it says and on the back you use 1, 4, & 8. At least on a 97 and I think on all the others, as well. Thanks for the tip Tami & SuperDave . That is a real time saver. Plus the seat moves farther back. Enzo, I read the reviews of the part you recommended and most of them said it didn't work properly but one guy said his iPhone5 didn't work but it worked with his girlfriend's. Wow I finally put the simplepod in the hemi Kat today. All I can is thanks. Simple plug into near the CD changer. Sounds great everything works. Thanks for the post. All I can say is why didn't I do this sooner? |

I ordered my simple iPod model ISCH72, and I'm going to wait until it is delivered before purchasing the 30 pin cord from Best Buy They assured me they could help me out If worse comes to worse , I have an old iPod that the cable will fit into |

Only the APPLE 30pin to lightning adaptor will work!!! The one you posted the link for is not the correct adaptor. Also, the Chinese adaptors that look like the Apple adaptor WILL NOT work. I use an iPhone 5 with the Isimple and APPLE lightning adaptor and it works perfect. Steering wheel controls are functional. |
