We made it to Vail and pulled into the under ground parking.. They had Prowler Art on the wall...    I must say that we have are very own Video guy right here in Colorado and Grant has some of the best that I have seen.. He puts my work to shame as the camera mounted to the car has no shake and a windshield to protect it from bugs and debrees... onecatnodog |

Some of us were lucky as they got to park in the first lot UNDER GROUND, and the rest of us were even luckier as we got to cruise Vail to the upper lot and park... onecatnodog       |

Could this be a star?  I think the Prowler people that came to Prowlin Colorful Colorado were all stars, as the Mile Hi Prowler Club tried to treat them that way.. onecatnodog       |

Gramshammer were we had to fight over the bill to keep from being CHEEATED! The Prowler People are smart and would not be railroaded but a "WHAT EVER" Waitress... Good Job Guys! onecatnodog   |

The waitress thought know one would know? She thought that maybe we were in a hurry and wouldn't mess with the total? Maybe she thought! I don't think she did... Every one totaled up there items and added some more cash to that total, because that's just the way Prowler People are and then gave a big tip on the end... She came back and said we were $40.00 short and that wasn't including the tip... What a shocker to us and then she got attitude.. Granted she was busy and did a O.K. Job but to give the Prowler People attitude... That's when we asked to see a menu and it was use the phone to do the math... onecatnodog |

So what day are we on? This thread is a first and hope the last. I understand your excitement from doing your first event(I am done some too)but looking at the same thread for 4 months tends to get a little old. Maybe Events Discussion is a better place for this. take care, have a safe weekend P.S. Please leave the politics out of it, it has nothing to do with politics. |

Our snippy waitress said there was a mistake made and that it wasn't on her side as she doesn't make mistakes... Brian used the phone to do the math and after further checking out the bill against the menu there was stuff on the bill that wasn't even brought to the table, stuff that we didn't even order... Plus, I said Plus the menu showed a $10.00 difference in a fish item.. Something that was listed as $19.95 was charged to $29.95 and we had i think 4 of them ordered at our table... When all was said and done we were right and little snippy miss waitress instead of getting a $60.00 tip like we had planed got only a few dollars... There is more to the story about this place of business and it will be told.... The little incidence didn't drop our spirits and we went on having a great time... onecatnodog |

John, I am enjoying seeing the 1500 pictures of a great event without politics even 3 months later. Gary, I am sorry that you couldn't have enjoyed this event with 78 other Prowlers and a ton of owners. I have been to events with you and I still talk about how much fun it was and will never forget that you are the one who loaned me a helmet to race with. AND YES, I remember the picture that you took of me standing behind another Prowler owner looking at the race. LOL!! I miss my friends, and I look forward to seeing everybody again soon. |

Funny thing or not so funny, the restaurant that we had just used was in for a BIG Surprise as while we were sitting around enjoying the ice cream the topic came up about the fish and switch story were it was one price on the menu and another when it was time to pay... Philip and Roy reached into there pocket as they and there wives two had the halibut and checked out there credit card recipe and here it was again $10.00 rip off on each plate ordered... Just can't imagine just how much money was made off the 2 fin mark up... Waitress having a bad day! I don't think so, as those guys payed after we did to the same girl... Back to the restaurant to get there money that was owed to them... Big group busted them as some sat outside, some inside but Prowler People talk and not just about there cars... The group broke up and the leaders of the day took most of the Prowlers back to the hotel, and I took over the helm as it was promised that we would go to Glenwood Springs an I made sure that if anyone wanted to go that it would happen... Four Go Anywhere that I led them Prowlers got a special treat and got got to see one of the top 10 scenic highways in the USA on the way to Glenwood.. Here is the die hards that went with me to Glenwood Springs...     |

Gleenwood Springs is actully a little futher than Aspen and is why some decided not to go that far... Boy did they miss out, as the High-Way Drive is WAY COOL... Susan and I go to Gleenwood Springs every winter and stay at the Gleenwood Springs Hotel which is were the Hot Springs is... Drive up early on a Saturday morning and Come back Sunday evening and stay right at the Hot Springs Hotel.. The Hot Springs makes my bad knee feel so good for about a month... Lots of things to see and do in Gleenwood Springs but the Prowlers just did a drive thru... onecatnodog       |
