I have, I believe, all of the design elements worked out on the luggage rack. We are waiting on the bending process but, I hope to have a photo soon. I also have an idea (design is worked out) for a FRONT license plate bracket that requires no holes. I had emergency surgery on my left hand Thursday evening after they finally determined that I have an infection in the wrist joint. I need to feel a little better to take the final measurements but Top Kat is close by and Bob Miller is down the road. How many of you are interested in a very low profile, well designed plate holder? Price will be reasonable! Do you have to have bumpers to use it? If not, I would be interested. I liked the approach RealRod was taking with the plate holder as part of the nose protecter, but he hasnt made any in years and probably wont again. ------------------ |

I'm interested as long as it can be used without the bumpers. Thank you for taking on tasks like this, your efforts are appreciated! Dave |

Art has a great idea for the front license plate holder. He is going to make further observations as to best location to mount as soon as I can get my Kat in the air for him. If you are not familar with Art's products..... they are FIRST CLASS, and very reasonable!! Both, his service and integrity are impeccable!!! You send him money when he is ready to SHIP product, just like Larry Lord. You will enjoy doing business with Art. ------------------ |

I designed and built a plate holder that will work with or without the bumpers. I was told that I should produce them but I have had no time to do so. I'm interested to see how these compare to mine in design. I built and tested about 5 different designs before I was happy. There are a couple refinements I would make on the next one but I don't think that will be in the near future. Good to see someone looking to produce for the masses. |

I just spoke to Art this morning. He has just had surgery on his hand and wanted to know how soon I could have my Kat in the air for him to crawl under to make is final drawing and template. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS GUY???? He just got out of surgery and he wants to work on this for you guys!! I think that tells you a little about his character...... for those of you who don't know him personally. I am sure he will have a new product for you to see as soon as he possibly can. I am interested in one as well. We just got the Orange Prowler yesterday (after a looong wait) and need to get the front license plate installed shortly. |

Pasi, Good to hear the cat finally arrived, just in time for another snow storm, lol!! Are you sure you have to run the front plate? I didn't think MA enforced it. Did Charlie contact you about the 2nd annual Meet, Greet & Eat? If not go to the "Events" area and check it out. Looking forward to cruising with you. |

Thanks for the tips on the front license plate. If the snow keeps coming I don't have to put it on until June. lol. It puts a real damper on cruising in New England. |

I would gladly purchase a bumperless front plate holder. I like the one Brian listed, 5th post down on the following thread (looks like the writing is german): http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/005179.html |
