Dan, The yellow looks cool, much better than the other yellow hiboy. Purple and Orange look wierd, not great, but not terrible either, just different. I think the candy would look right if it didn't have the hardtop and other stuff. |

By the way, I think the 1st black one looks the best. Black was my least favorite color of all prowlers (nothing against the black kats, just thought a prowler should have a color that shows all the lines, black hides too much). I always thought that if I got another prowler, I would paint it Candy Lime Green (see my banner), but now it's a close run between the Lime Green and a black one like this (with scuffed up paint): ------------------ |

Dan's rendition of the yellow looks a lot better than the other one. The first one looks like a car in the circus with the clowns. Don't take that as a personal insult. I can't even get to photo shop, much less utilize it. The Candy looks pretty bad and the rest of them are horrible. I realize they are not finished products and a lot of time a photo does not do something justice, much less a photo shop of the item. |

My personal vote is still black gloss, or gray primer Hi-boy with steel wheels and wide-whites. Remember....JMO. |

I have also been dreaming of of what it would be like doing the suede paint with flames Rat Rod style to a Prowler as a daily driver. With Bob's Harley headlight kit and his grille. A high rise Prowler Pro intake sticking up through the hood. Man that would look awesome. I have always liked the steelie wheels with baby moons and chrome trim rings look. The wires Dan did on Bob's Kat look good too. I was not too crazy about the purple rendering. |

This is fun! I like looking at all the possibilities. Bob - I still think your car with red or black steel wheels and chrome baby moons without front fenders would be the best. This message has been edited by Marty Usher on 11-16-2004 at 02:09 PM |

Nice job Dan. The yellow actually looks pretty good in your rendering - I didn't like it at all in the one I did. Not nuts about the purple or the orange though. The Candy Red has possibilities... Bob - here's a quick and dirty version of your car as per your requested combo(s). Has a lot of potential.... |

At least I know now that I wouldn't like those wheels on my cat. I'll leave the "hardtop and other stuff" just like it is. |

quote: CJ, you know the hard top and louvered side panels mess up the look of your kat. Since we are such good friends, I will go ahead and pay you $400 for both, just so you get at least some money out of it. This message has been edited by Orange on 11-17-2004 at 10:10 AM |
