Okay, I give up. I received the second DVD and I got it to load, but it keeps stopping and skipping scenes (which I found out after I tried it on my computer). I'm sending one of them back, because I don't know if it's the DVD player (I don't have trouble playing any other DVD on it) or what. I'll just have to watch it on my computer! |

CJ, mine was doing that but now I make Sandy spin the crank (on the DVD) faster. Don't go there A/C. Kids are reading this stuff. |

I don't know Ed.......Sandy told me that spinning your crank faster didn't make much difference one way or the other! |

CJ, Sandy never uses words like crank (except maybe to call me cranky, but that is just before 2 PM). She's a nurse, she only uses correct terms. lol. |

CJ, bummer! That second one, as I mentioned, Debe played it all the way through on all three of our DVD players. Their all different makes too? I also ran the disk checker on it just to make sure there were no "read" errors and it passed?? We can try another one if you like, just let me know.. ------------------ This message has been edited by prwlyn on 08-31-2004 at 06:48 AM |

Hey Geno: The first scene is the Menu with the HVII. It will sit there in most players and play the opening music for 30 seconds then start the music over again until you hit play. Then it should take you to the submenu which has all of the different chapters in the DVD. You can hit play again and the DVD will start. After it starts if you hit your right arrow key on your DVD remote it will take you to the next chapter and so on until the end of the DVD, then start the DVD back at the menu again. Some DVD players will just start playing the DVD along with most computers. It plays differently on all three of ours here at the house. One of ours does all three screens - the menu, submenu and regular play, the other one just starts playing it immediately with no menu and the third will let you take it through the chapters. Just depends on how your DVD player is set up. That's probably why it's showing up as a bad track on the first scene with the HVII on your computer, because it's the Menu and not actually a track in the DVD itself. Let us know if you would like it replaced. T Ed: Glad you finally got the DVD player situation taken care of. We bought a DVD player and got a bad one too on our first attempt, the second one was fine and we've had no problems with it. Just kind of makes you wonder how much throwing around some of those things endure from the warehouse to the shelves!! LOL |

Geno: Excellent! Glad it's working ok for you! LaGrange is one of my favorite songs!! Jamie pulled it for me to put on the video and it worked really well. Thanks again! Ed: Well, I suppose some DVD players could be in bins for sale - not sure where you shop!!! LOL T |
