Buddy: Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! We got some great video and pictures from everyone! When I was putting the videos together I had to look at that rain over and over - felt like I was back in it again! LOL - That was unbelievable. Dan's DVD has the bad weather coming back from Houston also - I couldn't believe that lightening storm that night either!! Lucky we all got back in one piece! T

Tami Faye, I got the DVD a couple of days ago. I still did not buy a DVD player. I played golf yesterday and never gave it a thought.
Sandy says I am worth EVERY PENNY. lol

No, I don't just play golf. I have a lot of chores to do first, (unless I sleep thru that portion of the day). We took a several hour m/c ride tonight. I did not even think about the DVD player and I was at Sam's getting my mom's groceries, etc. I should have looked there. Never even thought of it. Darn, I could have put that on her grocery bill, too. Wow, I am really slipping.
I may go to Meijer's now and get one.
I told Sandy about this thread and she said I will be getting a raise in my allowance. lol

I just went to Meijer and bought a DVD player. The DVD intro has been running for about 30 minutes. I either have a bad DVD or a bad player. I can see the high Voltage Blue II and can hear Leon Redbone (?) but it keeps stopping at that point and restarting. I paid
$ 19 so it should be state of the art. lol. I don't have another DVD to try but the picture CDs are working.

Ed, have you used the remote and clicked "Play"? The opening screen, which you described will auto-play on some players but on others you have to tell it to play. If it then goes to the Chapter menu, just click your remote arrows until you highlite Chapter 1 and then hit play.

When buying a DVD player you need to make sure it will play MP3's, SVCD, VCD and DVD. I recommend one buy the german company called Cyberhome.. I just bought another one of their's for $39.00 at Best Buy.. It plays anything you throw at it.

If you still can't get it to play e-mail me and I'll work with you until we get you working..

Ed, is your VCR light still blinking?? :o)

Ed: That's all that's on the DVD - you have now watched the entire thing - just the first frame with the HVII - LOL. Fred has given you the instructions on what to do to actually watch the DVD - my lord man - please do not attempt to program anything like setting the time on the VCR!!!!! I'm thinking you need to play more golf and let Sandy handle the rest!!! LOL T

Fred, Remote, what remote? This is a hand crank model.
I took the DVD across the street to my young neighbors. It works in their player. They watched the entire thing, I couldn't get out of their house. They loved it.
Actually after I posted last night I got it to play but it would play 2 or 3 seconds, stop, play a couple of seconds and stop and maybe even go back one second and start again. I thought it was a 6 hour DVD. lol. Turns out it just took a lot longer to play at that speed and pace. Let me tell you the music SUCKS playing it that way. lol.
I took the DVD player back tonight and got my $ 11 back and will try a diff. store and DVD brand tomorrow.
Anyone recommend a good brand under $ 19? lol

WarmNCool, A/C has NEVER posted anything funny. I guess i shouldn't be the one to determine that since I never read his posts. lol.
Our highlight of the day is reading the top ten on the back of your/our T-shirt. For laughs we read them from the bottom up sometimes. lol..
Thanks again for the shirts. We really appreciate your magnamimous gesture.
