I just got a replacement DVD player. Is ACME a good brand? lol. It is Hitachi, doubles as a grill, no wait, that was Hibachi. This message has been edited by ed monahan on 08-28-2004 at 08:27 PM |

Ed: Just remember to flip it over when it gets crispy!! I went out and bought the player that Fred talked about - on sale at Best Buy for $34 then a $5 rebate on top of that. Can't beat a $29 player!!! Plays every kind of CD and DVD! T |

quote: Fred, my VCR has the correct time. The church bells ring at Noon and I looked and the VCR was dead-on. I double checked it tonight right after the late news and it was dead-on again, 12:00. Thanks for asking and reminding me to check it. I hate the thought of Daylight Savings Time ending and having to go pull all of the plugs again. Darn. |

Tami Faye, I forgot to mention the credits. I sure wish you would have captured that on tape or even had a re-enactment. When Kristian said $ 122 or $ 132 or whatever it was, without batting an eye, I thought I would die. Then you swooped on him like a mother hen. Tooooooo funny. He is now banned from attending any auctions!!! LOL Funny thing is, he could probably have paid it since he saves all of his money and talks the girls into buying the stuff he wants with their money!!! T |

Ed, did you ever get the DVD working? CJ, did you get your replacement DVD and did it work? A/C, Grey Ghost has it right, no wonder your BUTT was worn out, chopping with a sawzall and then wonder why the blade was worn!!! Dang, wish we had a Alfred E. Newman pic here.... :o) ------------------ This message has been edited by prwlyn on 08-30-2004 at 10:00 AM |

Fred, I tried the DVD at the neighbors and it worked so I knew it was the brand new player. I took that one back and bought a diff. brand altogether and it works fine. Thanks. You all did a good job. |
