No offense to anyone, but asking if there is a guarantee is something everyone ought to ask about everything they buy on this planet! Unexpected things can and do happen!

I received the Wonder Bar today and proceed to remove the stock front stabilizer bar… Holy cow the stock bar weighs a ton. Must have been pulled from the Chrysler M1 Tank parts bin. It solid steel and I do not see how it could possible twist, unless under a tremendous load.

I will posted some removal photos in tech section.

In this case bigger is not necessarily better.

That beefy stiff factory bar keeps the front suspension from being independent. It’ rides like solid axial up front.

Need to test drive the wonder bar on the road to feel the difference.

I finally had time tonight to install the new Wonder Bar and went for a evening test drive.

Wow! Very impressed with the improved smoother ride!! I was able to tell as soon as I reach a somewhat bumpy road or uneven surface. Dramatic difference.

Larry Lord is going to sell a BOATLOAD of these Wonder Bars once the word gets out.

One way I was able to obviously tell the difference was the reduction in headlight shake. Have you noticed when driving with you lights on at night the headlights shake a lot, every time you travel over a not so smooth road road. I used to just write it off as “well that’s what you get for a hand built car” Knowing that your more luxurious car’s headlights do not shake up & down on rough roads. Guess what the Wonder Bar significantly reduces that headlight shake. You will see for your self right away.

Handling is still very responsive. I do not race around corners much but from what I can tell the handling is great.

More Later

FINAL TEST REPORT:

The final segment of testing the new FMBox WONDER BAR was completed on sunday afternoon. Lethia and I took the silver cat on a 80 mile drive to Canyon Lake/Tortilla Flats on Az. Rt 88. Twenty miles of this road nearing the lake area contains hundreds of sharp switchback turns and finally gave me the opportunity to test the worthiness of the WONDER BAR under extreme handling situations.

The cat handled beautifully in all the turns,,,where the speed limit was between 15 to 25 mph max, and I was driving the AC cat between 30 to 50 mph through these sharp turns = driving on the edge! NO oversteer or push condition experienced on this test road. The front suspension felt much more in contact with the road and the roll of the turns. On my 2002 Colorado trip with the Wild Bunch on the Mature Drivers Cruise through some challenging Colorado back roads, I was able to drive with the best of the cats but did at times experience the "push" condition with the stock Prowler stabilizer bar and suspension. PUSH is when you are turning the steering wheel to negotiate a high speed turn or curve, and the front of the car still wants to take more of a straight line approach, and the driver has to compensate for this condition.

I'm now ready to report that the WONDER BAR has passed all the tests I can throw at it in my Y2K cat, and the performance increase factor plus the smoother ride characteristics exceed my expectations. JMO

L. Lord - My personal chest hairs are ready to ship to Julie for attachment to the first sold batch of the new FMBox WONDER BAR. This will probably be more famous than Dr. Ru signing the product, lol.

WARNING! FIRST RUN SET WONDER BAR BREAKS!
I got one of the first batch runs, with the AC chest hairs, and after the install, I took it out for a drive. I noticed the difference right away! MAN! It felt GREAT! I had to keep checking the speedometer to see if the car was actually moving! I couldn't wait to hop in for a beautiful Saturday drive this morning, but when I went out in the garage, I noticed the WONDER BAR on the garage floor in front of the car. It seems that something in the hairs that were attached to the WONDER BAR caused the WONDER BAR to disintegrate. Looks like I'm going to be stuck with the less valuable 2nd run set, without the AC chest hairs. *sigh*

So true Mickey! I just came from the eBay site,,,,one (1) ALLEY CAT EDITION WONDER BAR with AC chest hair attached and numbered [#17] = bids up to $375 already

WONDER BAR "without" AC chest hair attached or numbered = one stale bid so far at $245

I told you to jump on that first edition with my signature chest hair attached!!! This will be a valued collector's item for decades to come!

idive,
You just about gave me a heart attack!

CJ,
Thanks for the comment. I'm very happy with the responses so far.

Kcat,
Thanks for all of your comments and your superb pictorial installation instruction help. I'm glad you like the Wonder Bar as much as Alley cat and myself.

Anybody else get their Wonder Bar installed and driven yet?
I have another production run in progress and will be able to ship them before the end of July. Pricing should be about the same.

I'm on vacation right now and won't be back until July 12th.

I received the new Wonder Bar on Friday, installed it on Saturday and finally had time to road test it today, Monday. I noticed the ride is "smoothed out" and there was a lot less shake transmitted through the front end over rough road. I guess the Wonder Bar allows the shocks to do their job...
In turns, a remarkable feel of control, no more of that "on the edge" feeling in a decreasing radius turn.
I highly recommend this item to all other Prowler owners, I am completely satisfied with Larry's product.
Now Dan, if you could add the Wonder Bar to my signature tickertap................Buddy

Larry, you will make Richard sick in the morning. If it is new and improved and it is a gadget, he gotsa get it. He just put version 1 on last week. Watch for version one to be on eBay later this evening and he will be getting the new one. Can you make one with a GPS built into it?
He owns the tri-color grey Prowler. lol.

Pauley! What are y'all thinking?

I sell Wonder Bars,,,not Wonder Bras! But I really do like the display "rack" you designed.
Nice work DP!

*****************************************************
Here's the bad news,
The Wonder Bars did not make it back from the paint shop yesterday as expected so I won't be able to get them packaged and shipped out this week as I had planned.

I now expect to have them ready to ship in less than a week.

I'm sorry for the delay but it will be worth the wait.
