Maybe we can get Mike to just scrape some paint off and let us know. He could always blame it on Judy and then turn in the claim on his insurance, and get it painted a 3rd time, assuring its place in history as the most painted trailer!

i think after seeing this i will go ahead and keep my trailer
too rare of a commodity to part with at this time
will need to see about getting a stand from Larry Lord soI can fit it and other stuffin the garage

Larry's stand is sweet. It was tough for a non-mechnical guy like me to set it up..but it saved a tonne of space for us in the garage. Every trailer owner needing space should get one, but make sure you have someone to help you stand it up or bring it down.

CJ: thanks for the stats! convinced us never to sell our trailer!

It's hard to tell from the angle of the picture but those are either steel wheels with plastic silver hubcaps or they are the painted wheels. Look like steel with hubcaps to me.

It would be interesting to know how many trailers (used) have been repainted a different Prowler color?

CJ, I cant's answer your question but I know of one trailer that started as a Black, got painted Red and is now Black again. It has had 4 owners so far. It is now in GA, formerly in Ohio and Indiana and I don't know where originally.

My trailer started out as a yellow with steel wheels but is now purple with real silver wheels. It now matches my car perfectly...

I'll also second the praise for Larry's trailer stand. I couldn't have my trailer without it. If you want to see one in action in DFW let me know!

Our trailer started as Purple with steel wheels & simulated silver wheels hub caps, then we went to actual silver wheels and now has actual chrome wheels.

CJ,
Time for my daily dumb question. Did the trailer model year change with the calender year,
or was it done by the (Prowler) production model year?

For example, both of our trailers have build dates of October 1997, does that make them '97's or '98's?

well I bought a red with chrome wheels on ebay and traded it with Mike K for a purple with steel silver wheels because he was going to paint one anyway. Thanks mike for saving me the money to paint one. Now it has 20" chrome wheels on it.

I bought my Mulholland trailer new and was told it was the third to the last one left. The red trailer was bought from Florida and will either be painted or traded when I get my next Kat - who knows when!!!

I think you may be right about the hubcaps...I didn't pay much attention to it at the time...it will be painted candy when it arrives.

Last time I went to the museum (couple years ago) they had the purple Prowler set up so the public could sit in it and have their picture taken.

I didn't read the whole thing and maybe someone else had the same thought..........it would be interesting to know "HOW MANY OF WHAT COLOR ARE OUT THERE NOW?"

I know of several that have been painted. Mine was one of the yellow with steel wheels, Dave Mills was one with chrome wheels, now Dave has painted and I have chrome.

Thank you Ed! Prowler Facts and Stats has now been updated.

Kit 16 (unpainted... what color), and how many have been repainted remains a mystery!
