I would take 100 but would like to have at least some of them in silver. Maybe if they are mixed colors you could sort them into one, two or three colors as wanted. |

Thanks everyone for such a great turn out so far, it looks like we could hit 2000 cars. pauley & blubyu, I'll be making the call tommorrow to find out what can be done, I would like yellow but the cars are for the kids not me so I'll take what ever I can get. |

OK Guys I like the idea that John has. IF we could get enough interest and I see 1,500 so far I think we could get a POA car done. Now would Mike be agreeable? anything with POA on it I like to ask if it is OK. Next would be to contact Matchbox, Playing Mantis or Racing Champs (they all have prowler mold) to see if they would do it and make all 12 colors with a POA label and www.prowleronline.com on the car. I'm thinking there would be a minumum of 10,000 or 15,000 and someone would have to FRONT the money for this. Someone with retail outlet or a wholesaler could run it thru might be a plus. I have quite a few right now but guess if we could get the POA cars I would be interested in a 100 ------------------

Larry, I'm going to just go with my program and see what happens, if you can get a POA Matchbox for a buck or less then I'm in for a 100 of them also. |

500. I'm in! After a few weeks, let's see what the count is... I bet we can get our own POA design AND keep the cost under $1 per copy. I like Mike's (We Prowl's) idea about the high voltage blue. Great idea, Mike and thanks Al, for starting this whole idea! Concerning the brands, I like the Racing Champions mold and packaging better than the Playing Mantis (Johnny Lightning). |

 I'm in for $100 worth. I'm for the High Voltage blue also. I think that will keep it all fair and no one can say anyhting about what color they got. GREAT IDEA. Can you see the look one some little boys face when you pull a PROWLER out of your glove box and give it to them |

I called Mattel today and didn't get the news I wanted, I was told they would neeed a order of 20K.  The person I talked to said the cars come already mixed boxed from China, she made it sound like it would be a major deal to make this happen ....my thinking is all they would really have to do is call Ho Chi Min or who ever there man is in China and tell them they need x amount of Prowlers shipped. I also called four Mattel distributors with not much luck there either, I did have one tell me to call back 2/20. The salesperson said they where going to New York for a meeting and would ask if distributors would be allowed to order which MatchBox cars they wanted this year. Does anyone know what other company makes Prowlers in a MatchBox size? |
