While nice, a 300M is not what I would want for a "toy" car to play with on weekends only.

With all the car nostalgia stuff going around, I'm surprised they haven't resurected the RoadRunner or Cuda.

O.K., this makes two people that are now using the 80K number with these cars. I better go buy a few more at the current mid-30's price so I can double my investment in two years.

Big John, the only folks that will think you spent 80K on this car two years from now are the ones that don't know the price of them currently. So, on the bright side, they probably already think you have an 80K car right now

For the rest though, they will think you have a very nice car worth the same (or possibly less) then what they are worth now.

Oh yeah....Have you seen the "new" Chevy Bel-Air convertible? THERE'S a toy. I hope it makes production. I like it more than the SSR.

Would it fit?

You can actually buy new crate hemi motors now from some mopar outlets. I forgot where I saw it but, they are available and is probably cheaper then buying a whole car.

Chevy calls that retro styling? I don't see it myself. Nice enough looking car, but not retro styling of any Impala I can remember. I like the 300 Hemi C show car better. Its not retro either, but better looking IMO. Also how about a Hemi in the Crossfire.

Another one I like but, alas they will not make is the Chrysler Atlantic.

Now that is one cool looking ride.
