Glad your OK, but please start wearing the seat belt, we want you around for a long time.. Car look gone to me also, hope the outcome is correct for you. You might even get a better deal on the few remaining cars out there. |

Really glad you are OK, YOUR car looks a lot worse than mine. I am at 25 grand plus on repairs and your car is way way way way way worse. What's going on here, do we all have targets on our back? This message has been edited by Gary C on 02-17-2005 at 09:33 AM |

quote: Granted but, he stated, "Some rice burners apparantly racing down the freeway hit my car on my way home this morning... " I sure everyone cares about lives but, people willing to race on the street (illegal) or freeway (illegal) will do so with complete disregard to you or me in order to claim that their piece of crap is faster then someone elses. Hardly worth the risk of lives, don't you think? Most people are not capable of controling a situation at high speed (100+) when things go wrong or racing down a street and a kid walks out in front of them. They are not professionals nor are they playing on a professional track. They are immature idiots willing to play russian roulet with your life and theirs. Period! |

wow ... scarry ... looks like an Indy car after it collides with the wall ... ouch! Good thing you are OK and fortunate that you had a camera with you to document the damage on the scene ... seat belts ARE a good idea, even if they are the law! |

When you get your estimates, make sure you specify (and they understand) you want all NEW parts. No wrecking yard stuff! This helps get the repair cost up. ~bg |

01Prowler, Glad your alright! Looks like a scary ride after the front tire got ripped off. Where is the car now? I have to be in Dallas later this week and would like to take a look at it, morbid curiosity has gotten the better of me. Stay on your insurance company, I am no adjuster but it looks cheaper to just start over with a new car. Steve ------------------ |

Sorry to hear about your accident! At least your ok. You know I wear my seat belt in every other car... but for some reason in the Kat I find it very annoying. I wear it, but not all the time. I understand why you didnt have it on. You were lucky. Hope it all works out to your favor. ------------------ |

o man... I'm in tears seeing a Kat in that condition... but metal can be repaired or replaced. YOU cannot, and I'm glad your OK... That's the important thing. |

I am glad your ok. You are lucky that you were not hurt. I was involved in an accident in my kat Christmas eve. My kat rolled over on me and was totalled. I received 11 staples in my head along with cracked ribs. The seatbelt saved me. |

How awful, but thank goodness you are okay. Cars can be replaced.......... Can understand your feelings about not wanting to fix it and drive it...........they are never the same after damage like that. Hopefully, your insurance company will replace it! |

Glad you are OK!! That is real tragic, and I bet the worst hurt is that big empty sinking feeling - having lost the cat. Thank god you are OK! Wear that seat belt, if you look at your pictures you will see the cat was wearing two belts. Heck, if it can wear them, so can you! ------------------ |
