When I was fresh out of high school a friend bought a 1963 Avonti with the supercharger in it. We went to Boulder and he hit 130 MPH on the streights. Also had a friend who had a 1970 AMX. We did a trip to Las Vegas where he pushed 120 for a while. Fun rides .

115 in the kat and about the same on a bike. I say about 115 on the bike because it scared the devil out of me and i really wasn't watching the speedometer after that.

2004 Lamborghini Murcielago at our test track....radar certified 190 mph on straight-away..had to shut down as the banking in the curves cannot handle speeds that high....sure it would have crossed 200 mph if we had more straight-away.

140 MPH at Kentucky Speedway driving a Richard Petty car.

95 in my Prowler at the same track.

When I was a teenager riding with my brother in his 63 Plymouth Savoy 2dr sedan, 383 & 4 speed out of a Road Runner. Doing 97 in 3rd gear and when he went for 4th we ran out of road! Never wanted to get in with him again!!

140 in 88 Acura Legend
So far only 100 in both the Prowler and the PT Turbo
I think I did a 100 in Gordons Superbird. Gordon is that right?

The fastest car I ever owned was a '71 Nova with beefed up samll block Chevy engine. It would run the 1/8 mile in the upper 7's.

I had a '88 Corvette Convertible that was fastest top speed I ever drove - 153 MPH

My fastest Motorcycle was a reworked Honda 750 back in the mid 70's. I would get scared usually once it reached 140 and never got it to it's true top speed.

I've had the Prowler up to 132 at the Chelsea proving Grounds 4 mile banked track last summer.

Though the speed is not as impressive, I am still amazed by the experience.

While visiting friends in Germany we drove an average stock 4-cly turbo diesel Mercedes, loaded down with 4 full grown adults at 220 kph (135 mph) on the Autobahn for at least 20 minutes straight. I was amazed at how after 5 minutes 135 mph felt normal, like we were only doing 80mph. And that little 4 banger sedan kept working even full with passengers.

Passenger:
135 in a 1966 caprice classic while racing (something)
90 in a 1966 caprice classic while racing a cuda when my friend (accidentally) shifted into REVERSE (long story, but it was a wardrobe malfunction)

Driver:
20 in a 1964? Ford Ranch Wagon (usually in reverse - tranny problems)
110 in a 1970 Cutlas ON THE BEACH
105 in a 1970 Corvette racing a cuda that zipped up from behind when she looked at me and said, "Don't you lose a race in MY car..." so I backed off.
130 in a 1973 Camero LT with another 1/4" to go on the pedal, but car was starting to shake (wasn't used to it yet - only had it a couple days at that point. Totalled it after on the 8th day... another long story, but not my fault.)
127 in my 97 Prowler when I started getting into traffic and backed off. About 1 mile further down the road was a cop hiding behind a pile of rocks.

SirReal, I think the fastest you ever made a corner in a Prowler was in my passenger seat!!! Also I think it was the only time in a Prowler you were on 2 wheels ( the rears )...
