Well Sue and I had a great time on Woodward. It rain some but overall it was a good time.

We took the Dart this time. Sorry to those that don't knoiw me without my Prowler.

I got the engine back in and running on last Sunday (8-13-05) and was able to drive it about 50 miles. Monday it rained all morning so it stayed in the garage. Tuesday looked like rain but I needed to get the AC charged so I drove it to the shop and got it charged.

When I loaded it in the trailer on Wed. to take to Detroit I had driven it about 70 miles.

I am very please to say I drove it almost 300 miles in the Detroit area since Thursday with the only repair being replacing the bolts on the exhaust tip hangers.

I still have some things to do, but it was great to drive the car after over 10 years of being torn down

It looks way better than "good" in person. It looks perfect and I am sure the fit and finish is much better than when it was new. Sounds BAAD, too. Great job Larry.
It is superb.
Congratulations on finishing it and doing such a great job.

Great to see she's out of the "hanger" after all this time. Can't wait to see it in person.

Yes the interior is done...well almost....still have the finishing touches to do

I didn't take any pictures of the interior in detroit so I took these in the garage this morning. The guy that did it has been doing interiors since he was 17. His dad did interior work and now his kids are learning from him. I would take anything to him.

Thanks for the nice comments. I am very please with the way it has turned out.

The Dart looks great! It shows off all of your dedicated hard work. Wonder job.

Glad that you and Sue made it. Frame the picture of the car on Woodward.

The "shot" about "do you have the air on" was a low blow!

It seems the cam bearings were the problem. They found nothing other than .0055 clearance between the can journal and the bearings, it now has .002 to .003. It seems that it is OK now. Over 350 miles since it went back in.

Cam bearings were my thought from the beginning, but the builder didn't think it would be the problem.
